What's the current music scene like in Beograd?
I'm a weekend dj so music from other countries always fascinates me.
It's always been motley, but can't compare with the scene from 70s, 80s, 90s... Former Yugoslavia popular music scene was probably one of the biggest in the world, if you exclude US and UK... The only reason why many of those bands or musicians are not worldwide famous is language, they didn't have ambition or reason to sing in English... The best bands had at least 365 concerts per year, all over Yugoslavia...Quote:

All these new pop songs coming out have a Nu Disco feel that work well on the floor and you can beat match in lesser known club favorites with the current top 40 stuff.
