Palace teams report, Friday, interim...
Desert Rats FC played an early morning home match against the basement club in the League, and won 5-0, thus ensuring promotion in a Champions League slot for next season. Scores were level until the 26th minute, when Albert O'Toole was injured, and fellow striker Lorcan Ivory rammed home the resulting free-kick for the opening goal of the match, and registering the Rats 100th competitive goal for the season. Four minutes later, Ivory turned provider when he crossed for defender Quique Roca to head in from short range. In the second half, Plamen Atanasov raced down the right wing, cut in and slotted the ball past the 'keeper and Markus Hammes got onto the end of a right wing cross from Atanasov to slot in the 4th goal. In the 77th minute, Hammes lost his midfield partner Jose Carlos Matias to injury, and he was on hand to head in the free-kick from Ivory to finish the scoring.
Palace Terriers played away mid-afternoon against 5th in the table and after a tight game, prevailed with a 2-0 victory which leaves them needing a win on the last day for the Championship. Having had a couple of sighters from free-kicks in the first half, right-back Rui Pinhal finally got one past the home 'keeper in the 51st minute for the first goal of the game. 15 minutes later, midfielder Bojan Milosavljevic chanced a pile driver from 30 yards out and it flew into the net, scoring the Terriers 100th competitive goal for the season and clinching the match.

Teda dominated the CL final but we lost in penalties.
Season is done, league champions and CL runner up, that is it.
We will keep the whole squad and say BYE to cup in the first couple of rounds next season, and will try to win league next season.
Lost league game 0-4 at home against 9th. 8 games in a row without a win .
replying to own post as league games are done for today and it`s a 5 way fight for last 2 Champions league spot so i`m guessing 3rd will play strongest squad as they have leader`s, could be good for me as 8th who i have can`t get promoted :) ????

Won the CL with Viva Satan FC.
Really was an easy match, scored early and played counter attack, I have a club legend ST and scored one goal.
Last goal was in 89" minute, scored by my DR, assist by DL, probably are the best pair or side defenders I had since I played T11.
Thanks for this little revenge.
And won the League with this team too, until today I have 24 won matches, 130 goals... puff incredible team.
Second League and Champions League consecutivos.
La Morralla FS draw 1-1 vs the 1st, good results preparing next season.
Jose FC won 1-3, preparing next season too.
Both my teams faced strong league opponents in last few weeks but finished strongly. I quite satisfy with my teams and the challenges provided by the opponents in this season.
Tomorrow I will reduce the win bonus. They will likely lose after a long time.

Reserve goalkeeper Khaled Mokhtari was released with the signing of Longrigg, and it was the end of an era for Palace Casuals as the famous 'Flying Wingers' who have terrorised opposition defences since being recruited from the Scout list together at the beginning of Casuals' Season 22 [5 seasons] have both been sold. The two players with the highest appearance counts in Casuals History have been released to pursue their remaining careers with other clubs.
Attachment 55472Attachment 55473
Palace Casuals tried to prove that 'life goes on' with a home game against 5th place, and earned a 2-2 draw. After 42 minutes, midfielder Mustapha Haouli was injured and Hansen's replacement, left-winger Martin Kozak headed in Mario Dinamarca's free-kick to put Casuals in the lead. After the break, the visitors pressurised for the equaliser, which came in the 59th minute, but Casuals then matched their opponents until defender Martin Schopper fouled just inside the penalty box and a goal from the resulting penalty put the visitors ahead. The lead lasted just two minutes, however, as striker Konstantin Kirchev, a substitute introduced just a minute earlier, netted a 25 yard shot to give Casuals a share of the points.
Attachment 55483 tomorrow I play 7th , haha,so its promotion o nothing:-) I guess nothing,to stupid my performance,I scored more goals than my friend in 2nd,and almost as many as my friend in 4th,but my defense was a joke this season..maybe they do me one last favour n win tomorrow.
After seeing our treble bid come to a halt, with a 1-0 setback in the Cup final last night, the boys rebounded with a 4-0 win in the league, which clinched the title as 2nd lost.
As for the main event: The Champions League Final pitted us (8-3-1) against Pablo FC (10-2-0) in the final. Our opposition had been in great form all tournament, not taking a loss, so a very difficult match was expected. Suprisingly, it wasn't the case as our 4-2-2-2 hexagon got the better of his 4-4-2 classic for a 5-0 victory.
So at the close of yet another season, we've won the double (league + CL) and 2nd in cup.
Yes Treble
Last match in Liga 1st or 2nd position, and we got the winning 6-1.
also the last performance for our Legend A. Del Piero before selling him next season. Amzing Del Piero along his career 647 goal, a new record club :)

Palace Terriers report, season final...
Palace Terriers played their final game of the season at home in their newly extended 'Small Town' stadium, and all 7000 seats were occupied to see the demolition of the 13th place team and the raising of the Championship Trophy after the final whistle. Striker Waldemar Sanchez and right-winger Julien van der Plas gave the hosts a two-goal lead at half time, and a burst of three goals after break by GK Jayantha Ahamed, Sanchez and van der Plas increased the lead. A spate of substitutions followed as the Management gave outings to some of the less-used players this term, before van der Plas completed his hat-trick and Stanislav Dolgoborodov headed in a corner in the last ten minutes to complete the scoring in the 7-0 victory.

Lost,so finished 8th haha, let's repeat the level:-) half team will be sold, there's no difference in keeping the star, they
performed horrible...attack was fine, but all defenders can go:-) I'm not too bothered, cause this team if promoted would've been trashed next season,so better to take it easy n rebuild it:-)
Once again, we've made it to end of the season.
My team placed at second place at this season, even though I aimed for the championship.

I've managed to win champions league, but I pretty much win every 1 to 2 season.

Cup is obviously most difficult one among the other tournaments, I really thought that I was going to win it, but I matched a team that 4 level above me at semi final

Palace Casuals report, season final...
Firstly, a bit of admin, the Casuals 'Father Figure', Anthony Petrovski, made his 50th appearance in yesterday's match:
Attachment 55563
Palace Casuals ended their worst season on record with an away match against a team challenging for the final promotion slot and dominated for much of the match, but came away with a share of the points in a 1-1 draw. The home side took the lead against the run of play late on in the first half from a corner, prompting the Casuals Management to change to a more attacking formation after the break. The home defence held firm, by both fair means and foul, for most of the second half, left-winger Martin Kozak finally coming up with a goal from a long-range shot with 15 minutes to go.

Always the bridesmaid never the bride. This is my level 10 team and yet again there is at least 1 team better than me. Finished 2nd again. That's the 6th time I've been runner up and only 1 championship. Must try harder.

Leicester Tigers win back to back league title
Leicester Tigers finished off season number 3 today, taking the cup for the 2nd time in 2 seasons. The season as a whole was another brilliant one despite getting knocked out in the cup and champions league at the last 16 stage. In the cup and the champions league the Tigers lost to the eventual champions giving them a far better game than anyone else. In the League, Tigers knew they had won the competition in round 22. They almost achieved a 26 win trophy, only to draw one game in round 21.
Terrance, Tigers manager commented on the season. "Yet again, I'm so so proud of the boys, its been a great league campaign and we were unlucky not to get the 26 wins we probably should have got. In the Cup and Champions League we got unlucky with the draw. Ok, in the Champions League we didn't get top spot in the group giving us a tough game against the best but it was still hard luck, especially in the cup. I feel we've made a lot of progress this year and as a whole we are ready to move on into next season looking confident and with a new look attack"
Next seasons targets?
"Ahh look, as always we will asses that matter when all the draws have been completed but for now, winning the league is an absolute must, I want, and feel the team is good enough, to get to the final of both the Cup and Champions League if not further. I feel now, we have so much strength in depth that though injuries, suspensions and poor form we have the players that are able to step up to the plate allowing me to give rest to players when needed, something I've not been able to do at this club yet. Im feeling positive towards the new season, but lets just enjoy this league trophy tonight first!"

Extra
And a last word from your reporter as the Fireworks fly from the pitch as Ges Cook lifts the league trophy, its sad to announcer the retirement of a star at Welford Road, Aaron Robertson. He's a player who's been at the club since the first game in season 1. He would always come on to the pitch and do the job whilst Lemke was injured or rested. Down to one star now he, would have struggled anyway but he was given the start today and scored a goal which just sums up what a great minded player he was. We all wish you well for the future, thank you for the memories. He played 38 matches for the club scoring 17 goals.
Thank you, I hope to see you all next season. For more information see the Tigers Team showcase page.

I've learnt from last season that win bonuses suck.
I was placed 2nd in league, RI in cup, Group stage in CL.
Aim to win the league and at least another title, maybe the cup.
Best of luck everyone, unless you're drawn with Atlético Kolkata!

Awful cup draw :(

And here it goes...Finished 8th,but got promoted...I have to to make sure finish 9th next season,my team is far away from being competitive :-)
Last season I was promoted from 8th place and ended up 3rd without improving my squad. I had bought new players at the end of the season to compete at the level without promotion but got lucky with my league draw and got promoted again.
Don't worry all is not lost, check your league draw and work it from there. You may just get lucky and then work it from there.
I did the same, bought yesterday some player, while thinking there's no level 27 for me,but now....If I have a similar league draw like the last 5 seasons, this squad now wont be competitive,it would be really a miracle of this league draw will be easier:-) I tell once I know:-)
Attachment 55648 finished 3rd last season.
Needed 1 player each in DCDR & ST category.
Purchased both and now satisfied with 1st cup draw. Got an abandoned team and this was the result.Attachment 55649
The CL league is also good & reasonable.
Hope I win this time.
