I've just had a new goalkeeper arrive out of nowhere. 33 year old 3 star. Just appeared straight in my squad.

I won one auction and pulled out of two more, both had token happy fools bidding frenzies. I haven't even looked at GKs as I don't need one.

Perhaps he is there to make up the numbers if you had less than 14 valid players at the club.

Is because you had an old player who quited last season so you got him as bonus, you can't sell him, if you don't need him, tell him good bye :))

That's the one! I had a big clear out. Sold those that were just there as back up. I didn't know they did that. So if I sold him, they'd give me another one?

They may not be worth much but it is all extra income when you sell them.

You're right, I can't sell him. So I let a player retire and they give me another one that I have to pay for a season. Oh I just checked, it won't cost me anything to sack him.
