I've been strugling in the begining of this season.. playing attacking formation did not work so well for me
after few games i decided to switch to Defensive 4-5-1V style with blue arrows on Defenders and red on AML/R and ST.
Suddenly my team started to get more shots on target and i think that's the main reason.. with more shots it's alot easier to win.. isnt it ?


Don't be afraid to go defensive cause you think you won't score.. cause that's not how it works.

Not always, sometimes you lose despite of have more shots, just like me in my previous match ;(

When you said blue arrows on defenders, did you include wing defenders or DCs only?

I recentlly added blue arrows on DL and DR too.. yah, just to make them play more defensive and it works fine for now.
I used only Blue arrows on DC DC and DMC in the begining, now DL and DR got them too.. can't say on 100% that it works cause the changes are minimal and may be for some other reason.

Well, I can think my self many times that defensive/counters in T11 isn't like real football.
Maybe it's something like Real Madrid playing defense (even Marcelo - ) and when cutting oppo attack, goes counter with Ronaldo and Bale running vs oppo posts, playing 1 vs 1 with their defenders - lol

My other team plays great defensive ball, but not so much my A-team. I've been trying to restructure them so that they can play any commands and it's taken me this entire season to get them there.

I used to play only defensive and scored lots of goals but usually in the end of the season(when it gets harder) my team used to loose important matches or draw as last season I lost on CL 1/4 finals with 2 draws, and won the cup that it's harder and the league, this season I play attacking 90% of the time and so far have 2 losses sadly was on the cup( can say was my mistake for try something different) but Im 15 points ahead on the league and on CL final. So defensive its good but might cost you some trophy's.
