Won league game 2-1
Had some bad results two days ago the team wasn't performing so got a bit annoyed asking why, so yesterday things back to normal got rid of some rotten apples, and they
got in to next round of the cup with another fine win against a two levels higher team, still top of the league one defeated so far.

Palace teams report, Day 11 Wednesday...
In the Level 5 League it was 2nd vs 1st and the 100% record remains intact, Palace Terriers winning 2-1 to stretch their lead to 5 points. The match was fairly evenly fought until the last 5 minutes of the first half, when Tony Meikle and Carlos Pineda scored twice in three minutes to give the visitors the lead at the break. In the second half, normal service resumed, and although the home side pulled one back 10 minutes from the end, Terriers hung on for the three points. Stanislav Dolgoborodov played his 100th game for the Terriers in this match.

Palace Casuals were also away at 2nd place in their League, but the result was completely different. Casuals held their own until a penalty incident in the 52nd minute enabled the home side to take the lead from the spot, and with 13 minutes to play, they increased the lead, defeating Casuals 0-2.
Palace Terriers' Champions League campaign is well and truly back on track as they recorded a 2-0 away win to go top of the Group and guarantee progression to the Knockout stage. On the half-hour, striker Tony Meikle was injured in a tackle and Rui Pinhal despatched the free-kick to give Terriers the lead. In the second half, the home side seemed to have a 'foul-a-striker' session, substitute Ben Atkins being targetted on several occasions, from one of which Pinhal netted the free-kick to give Terriers the win and the points.
We start the day with an easy win 9-0 in the Champions League.

Very frustrating league game. We conceded a goal and then THE GK GETS INJURED (THE GOALKEPPER, COME ON MAN). So i have to sub-on a 1 star GK. We scored two fast goals to put us 2-1 but we couln't hold on with such low level GK and we only got a draw at the end.

Yesterday must have been the goal keeper injury day then. Mine was also injured very early in the match. I had however a 5 star goalie as a substitute. This is however only the third time if I recall correctly that a GK was injured in my team in 20 seasons.
