Terriers travelled in the morning for their first League match of the season, and a double from Julien van der Plas either side of half-time and a late strike from Waldemar Sanchez secured a 3-0 win.
100% strike rate!:

Their first Champions League game was at home, and after a slow start, Terriers took full control of the match and ran out 6-1 winners. Rui Pinhal started the scoring off with a 9th minute free-kick, but the visitors equalised in the 26th minute before Stanislav Dolgoborodov put the hosts in front just before half time. In the second half, Waldemar Sanchez scored at each end of the half, with Julien van der Plas and Zdenek Krajca netting in between.
Bad start in LEAGUE, we lost away 2:1.
My ML Tomim started the season in good form, scoring the goal today. He also scored the goal in CUP that gave us the win and allow to pass to next ROUND.
The fun thing about this player, is that he started to score more goals and Making more assists after the 30 years of age, until then, was just a medium player.

Having two right-midfielders on the injury list and needing at least one of them for the day's League match, the Terriers Management borrowed the sick-bay from the starship Enterprise (aka 'Red packs') and magically healed both of them...
Late evening at Selhurst Park-ish and the opening day of the League season; the opposition manager arrived with his retinue:

I think it can be safely said that overwhelming numbers of supporters does not guarantee success, and in this case, a picture (or three) paints a thousand words...

Pretty good today, with 2 victories in the debut of the Champions League and the League.
First, the match in the Champions. I think we could have scored more goals, but my best striker was injuried in the first minutes.

Then we have the league match. It was a difficult one, we conceeded first but a the team with great effort scored two goals and gain the three points.

Won c/l game 3-1 and league game 2-1
won the 1st leg of the Cup 5-0 so should make the next round, let`s hope i don`t get many early Kick-Off`s in this as my game was at 6.44am still at least is was not at 4am :)
Also my GK has now made 400 appearances for his club
Terrible league start for FC Knudde. Went up against 1 of the weaker teams who is 5 points behind in quality. The opponent scores 0-1 and then gets a player send off. Of course he scores 0-2 with only 10 persons. Red cards for the opponent is apparantly the way to loose. Even though I was about 50% stronger (shotwise) I only succeed in scoring in the 88th minute. Sigh. 23 shots with 8 on target with a 6 and 7 star striker. Come on. Of course his goalie makes 5 saves and mine only 1.
FC Killroy had it a lot easier and scored 5-0. Too bad we had another injury. So that is 5 in 3 days. Bad start of the season.
Started off CL with a 4-1 home win. Goals from LB Wignall, RM Czinkon, LM Kilburn and CM Frimpong in a straightforward game. Best central defender injured for 6 days however.
Day 4's only fixture was a home league game and the undefeated run continued with a 1-0 win, CM Casper Justesen grabbing the only goal of the game.
Storing green packs for tomorrow, with 3 games in all competitions.
