Keep or Sell?
So my fourth choice Striker Rooney has played bad in every game he's played this season, he's a 6 star 18 year old who is worth 11 million, I haven't seen anyone on the Transfer list at my level this season worth that, he is rating 47 and my most expensive player, should I sell him and cash in or is there a chance he could turn it around next season?

Sell.
In some situation a specific player is not suitable for your team, it's quite popular in real football so i think in this game they'd make things the same way.
I have one 6 star ST too, with free kick specialist, 18 YO, but he doesnt perform well whenever he's got a chance, so im trying to sell him.

I would give him a chance in the first days of next season.
If he dont perform, then sell, with that age, is very easy to sell in the first day of next season, you Will get more money for it.

Did you bench him a few matches? Try that if not

I will always keep such players, they are fast trainers and IMO they will always start performing :D

If he is a fast trainer, keep him and give him an extra position (winger).
That's what I did in a nordgen I bought last season.
When he 's playing as ST he can't do much but as a winger, he is much better.
At older seasons, I would suggest to sell him but now there is a general problem with STs.
If you check the stats of the STs in the market, they are :(

If you have enough sp banked on him to put him to negotiation level i'd do that early next season and then look to offload him if he sucks and sell him for tokens if he is good. I do agree with Nik about some STs being better as wingers. You can always try him out in an AML?AMR role without too great of a possession penalty.

Thanks for the advice guys :) I think I will hang on to him and give him a chance in the new season, the winger idea isn't bad either, I have an AMR but no AML so I could try and adapt him to that position.

My main striker in my second season was 18yr str with free kick. In his first season he was mediocre at best and I had the same idea as you had. The next three seasons he was the topscorer of my team. Keep him for a few days in the next season. If he doesn't improve, then you can sell him :)

I would keep him. I had the same problem with one of my strikers but he turned things around in his next season
