Any way to turn around a 5-0 loss?

I played my first cup game yesterday... I was very confident and I player with my usual 3-5-2 with my new players that let me be the better team by 2 quality points... He played with a 5-2-2(W)-1 without any DMs and I saw he didn't have great players on his flanks so I used the "play down both flanks" tactic.. The game was pretty equal and I was losing 1-0 but I was feeling that I could turn it around.. then my DMC got a red card and a penalty was given to the other team... From then on it was a disaster and my tactics didn't help me from losing 5-0... But I'm the better team and If I put super offensive and all players with red arrows would I have a chance to win 5-0 away?? My quality is 21 and on the field it was 23.6 while his is 18.9 and on the field 20.3... Do I stand a chance??

Edit: If I max my win bonus will it help?

You'll never know unless you try, he might get a red card in the second leg. ;) You can give the maximum bonus, but is it worth it? I'm talking purely money here, go and check out the prize money for the Cup.

Some friend lost yesterday 4-1 and he won today with 3-0 so you have a chance but a small one, honestly I will say no but you have a better team so you can try, play hard attacking all what I can tell you.

I turned over a 3-0 loss to win 4-0 in the 2nd leg, that was in the cup in L1. But 5-0? Good luck.

Thanks.. I hope I can win there's always a chance.. It's worth it because at my level the max win bonus is less then what I'll get if I pass in the cup... Maybe I should put hard tackling so one of his players might get injured??
I was only losing 3-0 but then I was in 9 men because they got another penalty ( I even had light tackling on the whole game :( ) so then I lost 5-0

5-0.. he just needs one away goal and ur totally fkd lol. If u go all out att he'll probs get 1. I wont be suprised if hes going to play defensive with counter att second leg.

Don't put all red arrows. Be calm and just play normal. Once you get in rhythm you can score as many as 10 goals. The one advantage you have is that he might be over confident. If he uses defensive tactics then you screwed. Best chance is get 2 Scouts, most likely you'll get more than 4 goals.

He got 5 away goals in the first leg, the OP is playing away in the second leg. Simply, win by less than 5 goals or worse, he's out. Win by 5 goals with a scoreline of 5-0, it goes to extra time. Win by 5 goals with any other scoreline, or win by more than 5 goals, the OP goes straight through.

Agreed, all out attack is definitely not the way to go, you'll definitely leak a goal or two. At least your DCs and GK should have no arrows, with maybe a DMC covering them with blue arrows. Even the scouts do not guarantee you anything, though, and I think he'll definitely play defensively. You'll have to hope for a red card.

Lol i know how the away goals rule works potemy. I read his post wrong :D
