How many times per season does this feature pop up for you? Last time to me it happened exactly one week ago and I bought one hell of a striker worth every token. So I guess it happens less than once per week?

Well, I'm kinda newbie, I'm still at level 1 as you can see from the stats and I only played 9 matches so far, so my word doesn't really count much. Anyway, here you go with the screens. I think I payed 10 tokens for him, if I remember correctly. His value is 1.44M.

The addition of this new position might take you a lot of time though, especially if he is a relatively slow trainer. He will also lag in quality next season. Usually, for slow trainers, you should avoid training for a new position or special ability unless you don't want him to progress beyond a certain level in overall quality (for instance, if you intend to sell the player in the same season, keeping his quality at 99% is better for selling than those of 100% and above). It is also advised not to waste green packs to further train slow trainers as you will use relatively more packs for an equivalent amount of progress for a slow trainer as compared to a fast trainer.

Yes, thank you, that's the mistake I made early on, choosing special abilities for every player in the roster or making them train for a new role. Then I started reading the forum and... decided to pause most of them. I know I've wasted some skill points (but not so many, really), at least I got in time to fix my mistakes and pause those trainings. Too bad I won't be able to train my players to new roles that I need.
If you need players capable of playing other roles - those that your current players do not have, buy slow-training (95-99%) 'nordgens' that have those roles at the start of next season. They will be very useful to you, but will cost significantly less. You just have to sell them after 1-2 seasons, and buy again.

By the way, being a slow trainer does not mean that your player will be inferior in terms of performance on the pitch. He might still produce good performances for 1-2 seasons. My first good performing ST was a slow trainer. He returned a decent amount of good performances, including a lot of goals for the market value and tokens he costed, but definitely needed to be sold after 2 seasons. So, you can keep your ST/AML for another season.
The advantage of slow trainers is that they cost relatively less in terms of virtual money (market value) as compared to fast trainers which can easily put your finances in red if you bid for few in the same session and win all of them. Given the fact that you are new, it might be best for you to get a mixture of 'nordgens', mainly slow trainers but having high quality (95-99%, if bought in week 1 will, by week 3, be displayed as 6 stars), and a few 5 star fast trainers in which you can 'invest' your extra green packs and personalise them as you want as long as the personalisation fits to the qualities they have (attributes and positions). You can also get a few 'nordgens', fast and slow trainers, with the right special ability already assigned.

Thanks for your help mate, I appreciate it. Problem is, I've bought 4 fast trainers and now only have 1 million left, so I'm gonna save it to avoid bankruptcy. They were worth it tho, as they're performing very well and will be useful in future seasons. All I can do now is be more sensible and train new roles according to what I need with new players.
Today, after 8 days, I got 3 new recommended players, 3 STs, again; I bought the youngest one, 19 years old, who's also AMR, a position I need. I could post his stats if you're interested when I go home tonight. I made him play today even tho I subbed him out at halftime alongside Esteves.
