Day 10 - Palace Terriers report.
At home this evening against 1st place in the League, conceding 2Q in starting formations. A bad day at the office, 3 yellows and a straight red card in a 0-4 defeat which drops Terriers to 3rd place. Two defenders unavailable for the next League match means the Management will have to be a bit creative with regards the formation used...
Ouch 4-0 at home is a hard pill to swallow
try a 2-2w-3w-2w-1
No DML - I've got enough for a 4-0 or 3-1 defence, just hope no injuries...
lol prayers sent

Boys kept their cool and won 4-3 on penalties.. Next opponent is the most difficult of all and playing a formation I havent faced before...

Day 11 - Palace Casuals report.
A little bit of late night transfer activity - oldster ST with Penalty SA, 2T/$94.4M - why is it that all the managers that bid before the initial deadline (including two 'snipers') all disappeared in the 60 seconds of the 1st bidding round?

League game this morning away at 4th place, the team woke up late in the game and scored two late goals to draw the game 2-2. The Palace teams seem to be in the middle of a card-storm at the moment, Casuals strikers Philip Deery and Mehmed Serif, and midfielder Miguel Saez picking up cautions in today's game to add to the collection reaped by Terriers last night. When the scoring started, the home side went ahead on 25 minutes, then midfielder Mustapha Haouli converted a Joao Azevedo cross to equalise half-way through the second half, but the hosts went ahead again soon after. With 8 minutes to go, Philip Deery embarked on another defence breaking run and Marco Dinamarco scored a goal from open play when he nudged home the pass from his striker for the second equaliser. Right-back Azevedo picked up the MoM award.
What's with the results this season? In the past 4 days, Casuals have picked up 7 points in games with teams in the top 7 and lost to the team in 13th...

CL group match 5
Today a easier game than the first game. Till now 5 out 5 win in the CL. First time that I used 4-3-3. If I play that again I should buy a extra striker

1st defeat of the season in the field of the token buyer that now wasted more tokens to have a 7* squad with full of SA's, despite the 3-1 of today, we still leaders :)
I will train in "punctual mode" some of the young players of the team, starting for Sergio Bilbao, ST, really I do not want to buy players despite I see that there's not enough contribution in the MC-ST's line... but this was my plan when started and this will be.
United transfer news
ok, to prove another point I went a bit overboard. no level under me? why buy academy player? and the answer underneath

All players bought for one token each
I might add that most are 199 skill and a few 204 and with SA (win win i guess)

Day 11 - Palace Terriers report (1/2).
Champions League progression secured as Group winners with a 6-0 away win over the draw kings of the Group. Two goals each for left-winger Zdenek Krajca, and strikers Waldemar Sanchez and Florent Ben Dhia, the last-named winning the MoM award due to his two assists.

Won league game 2-1
Had two OK wins my team is going not to solid but we are winning so can't complain. My CL group its a bit of fight for the second spot LOL.
Day 11 - Palace Terriers report (2/2).
On a day which saw 1st play 2nd and 3rd play 4th, Terriers (3rd) snatched back second place after a good home win while 2nd lost. With recent signings left-back Thomas Denervaud and defensive midfielder Daniel Hristov making their debuts in the absence of left-back Andre Forsmark and DC/DMC Ben Smith, the side had a makeshift look about it but managed to put together a workmanlike 3N-2W-3N-2 formation, with Denervaud playing left DC and Hristov in DMR positions. In the first minute, Anderson da Silva Santana provided Ian Kay with the first opportunity on goal, and 'he rarely misses'. That proved to be da Silva Santana's only significant contribution to the match as eight minutes later he was injured. Hristov opened his account with a header from DML Carlos Pineda's free-kick and Bojan Milosavljevic came on as substitute. The home side then had to wait until the stroke of half-time for the next goal, the visitors infringed again and Luis Fernando Peralta appeared to have scored direct from a corner (the commentary was a bit vague - player booked, Peralta kicks a corner (not a free-kick), goal scored, Peralta credited on the score sheet) - 3-0 at the break. In the second half, Milosavljevic scored a 25-yard pile-driver in the 71st minute and the visitors got a consolation goal eight minutes from time, final score 4-1 to the Terriers.
PS. Spent a few minutes watching the matches of a couple of friends - there are strange happenings in Level 5...

That formation is left focused and works well vs zonal marking
