4-5-1v or 3-5-2v would of destroyed that. He has 4 down the middle, you had 3, because you don't have wingers it would of been difficult to play down the middle. I'm guessing you playing down the middle, right? He has 1 CB so you should of played long passing.
I just played against a 4-2xCM-2xAMC-2... The hell if I'm playing through the middle lol. I played 4-2-2-2 hex and won 0-4

I don't know about you guys, but I'd just play my regular stuff (never 3 strikers) down the left wing - he's inviting you to acres of unoccupied space. Of course, if you don't play wingers other than the fullbacks, that might not work lol

I know, it's stupid. The 3 wide defence thing makes no sense to me either. I guess with 7 shots on target you were unlucky but you didn't make it easier for yourself.
I've been in your position a few times and panicked but I learned from them.
