Help with winning the trebble

Hi All

I was hoping someone could help. I am on season 29 and have spent on 3 separate occasions 7-- tokens in one season on scout players to win the treble and no luck. Yet one friend in the game has won it 7 time in 8 season which is nuts. I have come close once. I have won the cup and the league but got 2nd in the champions league. Can anyone offer any advise.

There is a specific method to win the cup (and the treble), or at least to have some good possibilities.

My team has average quallity 5* while this one has 3*. Although his top players are much stronger than mine, his players for decreasing quallity are much under 1*. So if I met him in cup, my chances are only theoretical. This guy was league and cup winner last season, but 2nd in CL, so he still didn't manage to win triple crown last year. However, he doesn't have proper opponent in cup, so unless he gets trolled, he will win the cup for sure.
