Day 2 - Palace teams report.
2nd Leg of the Cup Preliminary Round, and both teams were playing away.
Palace Casuals had a start-over after their 1st Leg draw, but the oppositions Level and Quality superiority plus the Home possession advantage were too much for the plucky Casuals to overcome. Despite a nice double from Andy Bayunu, they lost 2-3 and exited the Cup 7-8 on aggregate.
Palace Terriers were hoping to overcome a 2-3 1st Leg deficit, but were 0-2 down by half-time. The wingers combined for Zdenek Krajca to give the Terriers hope of a revival but this came to naught and they lost 1-3, making their exit 3-6 on aggregate.
Transfer market was relatively quiet this evening, Palace Terriers picked up a couple of players:

As expected we lost away in the 2nd leg of the CUP by 2:1

Well that was quick. Out the Cup with an extra time goal the difference. I didn't attend. I'm not sure if I'm going to try for CL this season. We will see.

The league draw for us mostly consists of either 3-4* team, or even the newly "take-over" team. So we'll take that.

FH half we played 4-5-1 v style but it wasn't so effective if I thougt. Second half we changed to 4-3n-2-1 and the goals were coming.

What have you learned from last season?My tactics fail when against through the middle formations (4-1-2-1-2 ND and 4-3N-1-2 for instance). I need to improve this to take everything this season.

So far, 3W in 2 cup and 1 CL games. Cup teams seem around the same strength as mine (tactics will be very important). CL group is easy and the league has 11 teams well below mine, another about the same strength and another 5 levels above (I'm 44 and he's 49). I guess it will be a very difficult run until the end, where I can't afford many bad results against low par teams.
Our seasons opens with a 6-1 win away to Berrami FC. Dan Khoo got his hat-trick while the home team's DC Sorin Asan sees red in the 72nd minute.

All teams in LEAGUE are very similar in quality, with 3*/4* players, we also have 3 abandoned teams, and we have one of the lowest qualitys.
This Will be the last season of renovations, so still a season to relax, our goal is get the third LEAGUE top scorer in a row with our ST Bessa.

Palace teams report - League matches.
Palace Terriers had the honour of kicking off their League season first, and had included both of yesterday's signings in their starting line-up for the home game. One of them, however was to contribute towards the first Terriers goal scored by Zdenek Krajca and then have a big hand in the oppositions' - Mehmet Can Kilickaya given the Order of the Early Bath in the 41st minute for a professional foul in the box, conceding a penalty which was duly converted by the visitors. The rest of the team played on without a left-winger in the second half and scored two more goals through Bruno Linares and Thomas Clarke (assist Declan McGranaghan), for a final score of 3-1.
Palace Casuals also played at home and continued their good form from the two Cup matches, and humbled their opponents 4-1 with goals from Mustapha Haouli (2), Jorge Contera and Juan Miguel Ramirez. Defender Mohamed Monney provided two assists and Ramirez another, which with his goal earned him the MoM award.
FC Inter's supporters left disappointed as Sami Hyypiä scores the only goal with a brilliant header in 0-1 Away victory at the 1st Round of League.
Hyypiä was also the man of the match.
LEAGUE TABLE FOR INTER AFTER 1ST ROUND:
I stuck to the diamond for today's matches and glad I did. I won both games 3-0 with Pitry scoring 4 freekicks in one day lol.
Top of the table and I played diamond vs diamond and mine came out strongest.
