How is it that I have a better goal difference than the team in 2nd place, same points, but they go through. Surely this is wrong.

Face to face performance applies when both teams have same points in CL

How is it that I have a better goal difference than the team in 2nd place, same points, but they go through. Surely this is wrong.

In CL I finished the group matches on the same number of points and worst goal difference than the team that finished second to me. This is because I drew away 1-1 and had a 3-1 home win so overall performance was better for my team.

In this situation you have to make a 'mini-league' of the three teams who finished on equal points - in this case the result is:

Mohamed 4 2 1 1 7-6 +1 7
Red Kronos 4 2 0 2 7-9 -2 6
Everton Rudnik 4 1 1 2 9-8 +1 4

The first two qualify.
