lolo brutal when u train def/atack + hisicall skills till 9* and you loose 3-1 vs 6* team and you don't win 3 of last 4 matches x<D < I tank and throw league really-. too much tireful play all matches vs same Q. teams.

League of death continues.This surely feels like a season I had about 10 rounds ago where I couldn't win. So far this happened only once to me. I have been succesfull in 20 other seasons but this season luck is not on my side. Currently 8th place with 3 wins, 4 losses, 3 ties. Team consists of one 7 star, five 6 stars and the rest 5 stars. Lots of SA's and all players performed superb last season.
My last game was against another bottom feeder. I was dominant again (even the analysis said so haha) but things are going wrong in my defense. My defense keeps on getting low scores in the league with the occasional good game. In the CL they shine like there is no tomorrow. Cup matches were also a bit lower. So I tried putting in other players, other spots, maybe some arrows but I haven't managed to find the leak in my defense yet. So last game My goalie scored a 6,3 and a DC scored a 5,7. That DC scored a 8,4 and a 7,3 in the last 2 games. I thought I had a good replacement but fail I guess. The defense of the advisary was of the charts. Rating ranging from 7,0 to 9,4!!! Ok happens, I guess. My goalie made 3 saves but of course from the 5 shots on target 2 hit the goal. I had only 6 shots and his goalie only saved 2 and that meant naturally that I only score 2 goals? Sometimes this game.....
I am starting to think about tanking now. I will see how it goes the next 5 games. If I loose 3 more, then it is tanking time. The game hates me then this season.
Short, but hopefully can learn from starter of equal height/weight.

...then played the League leaders at home, and came up against a team using that awful 4-2(DMC)-2W defence. Took some help from the thread in the Formations forum, this lasted OK until half-time. After the break, opposing manager not present, Terriers Management didn't change anything, but the match, annoyingly, turned completely on its head...

We are going with the ND, only I am thinking of the orders. My players in the field are stronger so I can go attacking, or normal with counter attack. I think he's gonna play whole pitch with offside trap.

This game is getting funnier by the minute. It isn't my season, I realize that now. My last game in the champions league was another tie. I won the away match with 1-2. The home match would give me an advantage so no worries I thought. I thought wrong, AGAIN. Funny thing in the analysis was that the remark that the advisary played better. Hmm, lets check the stats.
More ball possession for me: Check
More shots: Check
Higher percentage passing: Check
More corner kicks: Check
Less tackles: Check
Better ratings CHECK
Ok he scored 2 goals somehow and his goalie shined. It happens. But to say based on the two goals he played better? Lets hope that my defense finds it form again after the first half. Thank god I finished second in the CL so I can advance to the next phase.
On to the next league and lets hope we get some better results.
I would if I knew specifics. I'm not sure if the game does take these physical qualities into account when calculating results. I do gravitate towards taller players and give them sa's depending on their physical characteristics and preferred foot. I would expect a shorter GK to have quicker reactions and able to get down faster while I would expect an equal Q GK that was taller to be better at defending from setpieces as they would cover more net naturally. Just common sense, really. Not sure if the game incorporates it, however.Quote:

I'll still take an either footed MC over a single footed one every day of the week. Footing does matter. Say you are using AML/AMRs, do you think they would perfom better if their inside foot was dominant if you were focussing passing through the middle (think arjen robben) or if you were long passing flanks and their outside foot was dominant? You don't know until you test your players in certain situations how they will do. Some of my players like short passing, some prefer long passing, finding a formation that makes best use of your players' internal programming is what we play the game for.
Another situation, you are a defender. you are marking a player that is left footed. If you are also left footed do you have an advantage or a disadvantage vs him in man marking?
Wow my Left Back Zaki done a Roberto Carlos and scored a hat trick in a 3-0 League game to leapfrog to top 3.
One brilliant hold up play by Escobar sent Zaki through one on one
Then slams in a corner for the second and then my DMC did a Vieira and powered through the middle to set him up for a tap in.
After the first goal my defence ratings were shocking but by the end of the game they were decent ratings.

My Ass Man Ray Charles told me to go easy tackling so I sub on the RB and play easy tackling. His rating went from 6.5 to 6.4 before he even came on. Must of been a poor warm up along the side of the pitch. Then the first thing he does is get booked with easy tackling on. Only card of the match. Yet again bravo Ray Charles (yes I've nicknamed him)

Finally... Anyone on the mobile device noticed you can see opponents arrow set up straight after a game and if you click on previous matches while logged in you can see theirs. I've been checking regularly and it never changes.
Won c/l game @ home 5-0 with reserves and finish 100%

Okay guys I was able to qualify for champs league 2round thanks to my new friend that beat my opponent for me. However, there is an important game tomorrow and I need a win.....he is using a sexy formation which is 4 2(ml mc) 2(Amc amr) 2 strikers......I call it 4 2 2 2 sexy. Oppenent had much luck today. He had 3 watchers. I was controlling the game. He was many times switching his formation. From 3 4 1 2 to 3 1 3w 1 2. I notice that I better can play 4-5-1 v style the next time. The drew came out a corner grrr.
