This could be the end

So just lost AGAIN a cup match.

getting bored of this game now due to how nothing makes any sense anymore. formations should work but dont, strikers not scoring ect ect ect.

Im now season 39 and yet look at the last time I won a competition:

League: season 17 - CL: season 7 - Cup: NEVER

I do spend money on this game each month for tokens and know how to play the this game and yet how the above applies is beyond me.

I have supported over 1600 friends games and i play this everyday.

But like i said, this is it for me now, ill spend my money elsewhere as this is just pointless now.

not a rant just frustrated with this game now.

I'm in a similar position. I'm on Level 27, I last won the League about 8 seasons ago but can barely qualify for CL these days. Out of the Cup in the first round every season since I won my one and only Cup 8 seasons ago. ST can't hit a barn door (my AMC league top scorer last 2 seasons). Players I train to Scouts suddenly lose form, 9 rating one day, 6 the next. Inconsistent results, beat top of the league away one day, lose to second bottom at home next day. Despite my 10 shots on target = 0 goals, opposition 3 shots on target = 2 goals. Special abilities a waste of time as my FK Specialists seem to hit nearer the corner flag than the goal.
But I just cannot walk away although it's not so hard these days to just log off and leave it for a while.

Yes thats pretty much it, as you have said. on another point that you mentioned, ST's are supposed to score but dont so whats the point in buying them? and as you can see i have 5 of them. worthless.

I suggest to wait and see because this season the game will be much different with the new updates (new version for pc and new training system).
- but I don't believe that this can make it easier for you as your are in a high lv and there, the competitors are only top players of the game.
If you like the game and see the new updates too, maybe you should think to make a take over, to start playing with a new team and have the old pleasure of winning cups.

I can understand that getting out of the cup on the second day is bitter, it happened to me many times. I won 6 leagues and 3 CL in just 11 seasons, but never a cup. I could lay waste on strong opponents in the CL that is supposed to bet a harder tournament, but not during the cup. It's just haunted!
I rage quit once, but now I just shake it off and go on. I play for free, and never felt the need to spend money as I won even without it.

I also suggest to wait for the new changes, and take it easy, it's a game even if frustrating! And also I enjoy some challenge :)

I had a lot of trouble in cups always facing active higher levels until I followed Nikos guide how to win the treble. It won me the cup last season and unlucky in CL and League. It's worth a shot. Also, you're not shy on quality so maybe more attackive formations might help?

Strikers are having goal droughts unless they're chasing counters or lethal from freekicks but I still feel they act like a false #9 pulling defenders away so they're not a total waste.

i see what your saying but ive spent too much money on this game and not got the outcome from it. i know money doesnt fix it all but i expected better to be honest.

i understand that too, but i have spent so much dedication ie up at 6am uk time to get best players, supported all of my 102 friends on here equaling over 1600 supported matches to no avail.
