Using top eleven on pc properly

Why do you have to keep Flash Player (and Adobe Reader) up to date when the new version of the PC App doesn't use it (them)?

T11 works perfectly well on FireFox on my Laptop - you just have to make sure that anything that you don't need to run all the time (software update services, etc, for backup utilities and little-used peripherals, and so on) are disabled in MSConfig.

We have update our flash player becuase old flash player does not support updated top elevn and your browser may crash or work slowly.And if you can update top eleven you can also update flash player.umm right?

Apparently the new version uses something called Unity, not Flash Player, according to Nik in a reply to Moi's post announcing the New Browser Version:

As 11th of February is the day after tomorrow, I would expect some more specific instructions about what to do.
Some questions :
1) As I read, the new version gonna use unity instead of flash player.
So, we must download some extra plugin ?

1) Yes, the first time you open the new version it will download some resources and take a bit of time. Initial loading times will be similar as they're now after the initial download.
