OK, I have read the previous threads and they are all crap in terms of what I want to know.
I know, at least I think I know, how this new system works....bah, who am I kidding. I suspect things, like everyone else but just cannot get to the point where I can be happy.
Lets start at the start and show you want I used to use.

At the bottom it should show how many skill points it took to get to the next quality level, but the new version has turned that to crap. I am trying to find a new formula to fix this. I need the new formula to show how many % points to the next quality level. I am not talking the next level like 5* to 6*, just 143Q to 144Q as an example.
the player in the 1st column on the left:
http://i68.tinypic.com/169ndwp.png
I KNOW he needs 16.2% to get 100% and make scout level in Defense, but that means jack****e to me.
what is important is that it takes 81 %-points or PP (instead of SP, skill points) to get that 100%/scout in Defense.
but that 81 PP means what in terms of total Quality??? that would bump me up to 123% total Quality but what OLD number does that represent??? I would guess at 146Q, but I have not yet discovered how to convert everything yet.
I believe that this is how the * quality thing works:

so in my player 118% is in the 144Q range, just like 119%, until I hit 120%, and I get 7* or 145Q.
So lets work this out for defense. 120% total = (x+152.6+117)/3 = 90.4 defense
so theoretically, I should need 31 PP to make 90% which would bring me to 120% and 145Q.
again, theoretically I just need 31 points to make 145Q. Am I on the right track?
If so, now I just have to change the formula to reflect this.
it is currently =ABS(((B$14-$A35)/0.2)+((B$21-$A35)/0.2)+((B$28-$A35)/0.2))
where B14 = 83.8, B21 = 152.6, and B28 = 117 (the % for each category) and A35= 145Q (the next level)
It shows 408 because of the change in the 3 category values being reduced to PP from SP.
now to get to 146Q how many more skill points would I need? Figuring this out will solve the problem and determine how many PPs it takes per Q level.
Does this make sense?
