Today in my cup game i put 2 times in the first half the attack bonus and scored 0 goals,in the second half after the attack bonus finished i put the defense bonus and i scored 2 in 5 min and this is not happened for the first time,most of the time is like this for me,so i think the bonus is just something visual like the SA http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...99730d8482.jpg

I don't play much with the new version as I have 3 teams in 3 different browsers so I can't do it with my RAM.
I do some training in the new version and my levels are about 8.
In most of the games I play with the old one because coaching it's better for me (or I didn't get familiar with the new one where I must change the screens to see the stats).
I used the bonus in 2-3 games so far.
In that game, I started with defense/counter/flanks, oppo scored twice, I sub my ST with the low rate, switched to attack and the the last 15' minutes to hard attack + attack bonus.
Nothing :(

In another game, I had a better team plus the support of 6-7 friends but the ball possession was equal. I believe he used b.p. bonus. After about 30' min the b.p. went to 60-40 for me (something normal). The b.p. bonus he used, didn't help him to avoid the defeat.
Do you have any case where the bonus helped you to get the result or it's the efficiency after all ?
I think so too not sure that it makes any difference, and I have noticed that u have to train a lot and have very little time for your players to recover so you have to use rest all the time and that cost money as you can get enough of them for free.Quote:

I only use the condition bonus - throughout the whole match - and it certainly works.
IMO the bonus you give depends on the formation you play. If you play something like 4-3-2-1 or 4-2-3-1 or something were 5 midfielders are spread across 1 or 2 lines, we should use the possession bonus. In defensive, counterattacking formations like 4-5-1V or 5-2n-2w-1, the condition bonus helps, the players run at rocket speed. But it ain't advisable to use possession bonus while forcing counters. The attack and defence bonus depends on the situation of the game. I'd keep the defensive bonus to wait till the 70th, since you'll stay back for most of the time else.
Didnt realize untill final day of season that i have to activate the bonuses. Being present for the match aint enough #facepalm
I usually start with condition (with D orders) Switch to N around 30 minutes in then use an attacking bonus until I am in a game winning position. My starting 11 are always 99% fitness and my lads have won a few games this season with late goals. Can I say it always works? Nope. But it adds to the fantasy element of the game.
I have only used possession once and never defensive bonus.
I'm just won my league and the CL this season.
I'm still unsettled by this. When not able to watch, this seems like a huge disadvantage, if working :rolleyes:
And to be fair, I have a job and is not able to watch every single match

Now why are some of you saying you have to be present at the match to activate the bonuses? Is this official? You are not confusing activation with boosting? I expect I am getting 10% bonus across the board and I get to boost one of those to 15% if I am watching. I usually boost Attack the first two times, Possession or Condition afterwards (assuming I am up by two).

I think you missed something.
Those bonus : Attack - Defense - ball possession - condition
is what you get when you set a team of players in the new training.
It's 2 -4- 6 -8 -10%.
When you 're watching your game, go to the bottom button (bellow managers/friends button), you click and you have 4 choices.
Those 4 bonus.
You click the one you want to activate.
You can't do that if not watching the game - be careful
Attcking bonus is best for extreme situation of games,eg start and end.
Defending bonus is best in the middle of play.
Bonus posesion is best for passes.
Condition bonus at last is best for high pressing.

I played my first leg for CH.L. quarter finals.
Not a good start as I lost a good MC from injury.
After a no goal first half, my assistant persisting to go for an attack mod.
So, after the beginning of the second half, I switched some arrows, set attack mod, deactivate counters and then I click the extra "attack" bonus.
And then booom, 3 goals in 4 minutes - LOOOOL
OK, assistant is a troller (maybe he is reading only a part of the statistics and doesn't have the whole picture of the game) , but how did it happened ,
those 3 goals just after i click the attack bonus ?
Is there a penalty or a "wrong" reaction of the game when we click the extra bonus or it's just a working or not function ?
Second leg gonna be very tough and almost impossible as this time my oppo suppose that will watch that game and I 'll have to score 3 goals in a very similar q team .
I doubt if I 'll use again the extra bonus :(

There seems to be wrong reactions in some cases. Remember that I posted saying that players were not following my orders; they were doing the opposite. Something has gone wrong with this game. The exact causes are not known but it is more likely due to the one or more of the recent changes or updates done to this game.
I have noticed poor ratings for defenders too, and also another user reported this in another thread.

could be changing the mentality let you concede 3 goals not the bonus ,, maybe you should have been more patient and change it to Normal not attack and few arrows would helpQuote:

that's why I continued with my 4-5-1V with attack mod. I kept the 4 D and the DMC so not conceded a goal from oppo counter attacks.Quote:

I have enough experience from the game so not to expect miracles from pushing a button but it's that oppo scored 3 goals in 4' min :p
I also believe that 4-5-1V with attack mod and some red arrows (DR-DL-DMC-1MC-AML-AMR) can be a very good attacking formation.
Many "attacking" teams using this formation (like Real Madrid for example).
Also my team, using this formation in many games, even with def/counter orders, has a very good avg. Usually a 3-4 per game.

It has screwed me over many times, especially in the old version. Make a sub then in the interim, concede, because the engine is counting my current player as OOP. Nik, I didn't mean to get preachy, I know you have a ton of experience. You just got impatient in what was bound to be a pitched, defensive battle with low opportunities based off of the formation matchup. 3 goals in 4' is quite extreme for a subtle shift in tactics
Plus you were at home so a 0:0 is a decent result for a first leg.
