" people will fear you if you bid 2T in the initial round itself."
When I see somebody that waste 2T per round I think... if you have the same tokens as me you will stay the 1/2 of time than me xD
I've been in auctions on the lower levels with Palace Terriers where I've had an idiot countering every offer that came through on the Initial Round, got themselves in Leading position just before the end and not bothered in the 1st Knockout round (everyone else obviously dropped out) and a snipe bid has secured the player...
...or they could have run out of tokens... :D
This is happening right now, so let's study some good strategies :p

ok, now Luiz Antonio, Sang, Luiz and Hamdy do some warming before the final battle :D

but I lost Luiz Antonio and Sang (the first two guys who spent 5-6T in initial round) from the final battle ...:(

In the end, it was a battle for two and Hamdy with a double bidding at round 8, won the player :o

I hope all of you have been a little wiser from those strategies :D
* The started value of the player in this auction was 2,7 M (3M -10%)
The price this player sold was 4,27M'
4,27 -2,7=1,670 M higher from the first price
1,670M' /30K (one bid is 30K) =55
so it was 55T that players spent at that auction
The player sold at round 8 and half of the token wasted in initial round and double bidding.
[QUOTE=cookizzz;396322]My bidding strategies varies depending on current situation of the auction market. But I always limit no. of tokens. In the past, my teams usually own 0-40 tokens only. So I will limit the maximum tokens that I spent for each option to 2, or occasionally 3 only.
Before I bid, I will observe the no. of active users in market, I will guess those managers who have already bid is still present or not (where they are, how long from their last bid, ,,,,,,), I will guess if they prefer placing last second bid or earlier bid, I will guess if they have plenty of tokens (in other words, token rich or poor), I will guess how many tokens they like to spend, I will guess the positions of players that those managers wants, I will guess if they have already got the players they want in completed options, I will guess if the large number of bid made have already scared off some managers, I will guess if I can scare off potential enemy of bidding war through placing an early bid, I will guess if I can steal the auction through a last second bid, etc.
After considering many many factors as mentioned above, I will decide if I will bid, and then when I should place my bid.[/QUOTE
So your strategy is just to guess ? lol
