Since the update I am unable to train players in specific area's individually. So say I want 1 defender to just train in defence I won't get the training bonus as you need 8 players per training session...So it seems harder to get a player better in one area

switch back to old version ....and train it there...only down thing is...your player might get hurt in training in old version....but the new training is for you training for whole team....my first team develop very well...i just crash a LV 11... same Q as my first team in CUP 1:7 in away game...
The old version will not help you with the bonus either. I train 4-8 players to get the bonus THEN switch to individual for power training. I think it is basicaly similar. You may just get the bonus on top. Where is the problem ?
Why would you only want to train 1 person? I've always trained in groups. Whether full (conditioning), offense (attack), defense (defense...shut up). Maybe I just see a better benefit training several over training just 1.Quote:

I train my 8 defensive players as a group and only pick defensive and physical drills -> defense & condition bonus. 8 midfielders with attacking, defensive and physical drills -> attack, possession & condition bonus. 4 attackers only get attacking drills -> attacking bonus. yes...you can do that way in group... but still that is kind of random skill adding to the player...even in attack drill, using in attacking player, it can still adding tackling...(like the drill shooting one).... and for a solo training it is not so effective on one player....before, you know when your player will gain another point...but now, it is just like a lucky random gain....who know when and what is going to add.....Quote:

well... in old system, you can control adding passing to defenders or crossing to full backs... just see where you add it to ...either in PC (more control) or in mobile (less control)...but either way, you still can choose what your player can focus on...Quote:

You can? I use PC and, for me, I can only choose weather I put the cones in defense/attack/physical but within them it adds them to random skill. I guess I never learned to use the old system.Quote:

Probably another significant flaw of the game.
Suppose that you want to train some of your players for attacking skills. Defensive players will be required for some of the drills, but attacking players should not gain any significant defensive skills; this should go to the defensive players involved. The same applies for other cases such as goalkeeper training, where secondary players may be involved.

Garcia has 3 seasons of training on him while Bartel only has 1. In 2 seasons Garcia's attack/defense difference will be as big as Bartel's, no? None of the attacking drills have 'bravery,' yet Bartel's bravery is 118%. So I assume when you bought him his defensive skills were about 118%. Positioning and heading have gone up but they are considered "key attributes" now so that's a good thing.Quote:

yes, garcia has 3 season of training...but the first season...was in old system...which i make that big different....and in the following 2 season (include this one) they train together~ and garcia's position ...this season from 81% increase to 96% (you know...promoted....skill % number will be drop to respond to that LV) and all the defense skill increase about 15% at the same time (and i used to be have the first two attack drill all the time in all training time) still...i don't like the defense skill increase randomly without the permission....(i don't care the positioning and heading too much...) i just need my AMR run as fast as he can in the wings....defense left it to defense.... but in the old system, if i don't add points to defense, the defense will not increase....Quote:
