How you play against strong teams?

Hi friends,
Please share your tips and ideas,and the way you handle strong teams.Playing against strong team is not an easy job,and if they are having right tactics then it is just a pratise match for them lol.

SOME BASICS FOR PLAYING AGAINST STRONG TEAMS.
1: Never use man on man marking.
2: High press to be avoided as opponent can counter attack you.
3: Never play attacking(mostly)
4: Avoid using hard tackles and save awarding free kicks.
5: Offside trap can be prevention but it is not cure.
6: Dmc with backward arrow is must.
7: Short passes can be used but opponent can intercept anytime.
8: Defensive menatlity and low press with counter attacks on is all time best.

How do you play against strong teams?
1: Defensive/counter attacking on/low press/easy tackles
2: Defensive/counter attacking off/high press/hard tackles
3: Attacking/counter attacking/low press/low tackles
4: Attacking/counter attacking/high press/hard tackles
5: Defensive/short passes/low press/easy tackles
6: Attacking/short passes/high press/hard tackles

Please share your experience and tips,It may matter alot to us!

I use heavy defensive formation with low press and counter attacks on and easy tackles.
But only when opponent have 3 defenders or even 1 dmc.

How about their formation?

You can use attack against a strong team with a weak defensive formation and win.

But I use defensive counter attacks against weak teams.Oh wait strong team with weak quality defense or weak number of defense is different.
You mean quality or number?As strong team does not have weak quality?

A weak formation can easily be with high quality players ;)

But we are talking about playing against strong team.

Do anyone tries short passes or so?

If me..when I play against strong team..I normally go full attacking for the 1st 20 mins.as I always see the weak team could possible attacking and score for the 1st few minutes...thats the trick ..then after than I will start to play more defensive or normal with DMCs or DML/DMR with arrows depend on the situations...
For my last 32 seasons..I always atleast in the top 4..sometimes lucky won trebles and countless doubles...

Even if the teams 9* or 1*, I'll forever use the same tactics (unless I need goals).

i don't care...facing whatever team...attacking is the best defensing ~LOL i think....i never change it...

So what result you get?Do you even have weak team lol

Whichever member of this forum misguide to use attacking against strong teams(at least 5+ more quality rating than ours) must show result.
I have many result to show that defensive works but how about urs?

both 1:1 in home and away in the last CUP game.... he is 147%...mine is 135%....and then lost 2:0 at ET~ (i was't watch the game...and my main ST got hurt at 37min~ so in ET...there was no adjustment to the team...and lost)

and i am LV10...in LV15 CUP ...i faced all LV higher than me since the first CUP match.... and went all the way to semi-final.... and i did all attacking....(and i only have 3 DC as you saw some of my post before....) i never change formation and never has off side trap on ...

LOL well...i use 3DC + 1 DMC is all my defense i have~ since season 2.... and i won all league and CL since season 3....CUP i won 1 in season 4.... and 4 times in 3rd place (and i don't sell my players.....now my first team are close to 8 stars (actually i have 6 of them in 8 stars...thanks to all matches) and that why you saw i am in LV15 CUP while i am only LV10... and all my sub are in 7 stars.... i have 20 players...and i build my team 4 seasons ago...when the time i always out from first round of the CUP...

Your tactics aren't the ultimate way to be successful in this game. It's just personal preference. Attack is the best defence in this way: the ball should be mostly in the opponent's half, so they can't possibly shoot from there.

But if you are dominating by defensive play that is not good?
Send me any result of 3+ goal win with attacking mentality I also tried attacking in semi finale of ch league against strong team but I lost.

So this poll is spoiled,kk it ends here.

OK I too use a defensive formation (4-5-1V) and it's giving me positive effects, but dismissing offensive formations is hypocrisy. During their glory days, did ManU played defensive?

A miracle is happned once but consistency is not a miracle.
I agree you can win with attacking mentality also but that is miracle lol

It is not bad if people go against my suggestions.
But it shows how much Famous I am to be critised by all lol.
