Immediately I saw things for myself I knew I was not gonna win the match, I was just praying it would be a result I can turn around. It was 3 - 1 ....oh I hit the post 3times. Thanks Nik, better show next time [emoji6]
Day 23 - Palace teams report.
Palace Casuals started off with a home League match against the team just above them in the table, and contrary to the Assistant Managers' report, was definitely the poorer in Quality. Felipe de Vasconcelas Leite scored the Casuals goal in a 1-1 draw, the opposition will be happy to get this one over with as their dismissal in this match made 4 over the two League matches this term.

The Palace Terriers players apparently went AWOL for this game, but all the highlights showed was a team doing all the right things but then passing when it would be easier to shoot and score. Another 'you ain't gonna win this one' match, and so it came to pass...

Better in the League match, eventually overcoming a stubborn defence to win 5-0 with conributions from Roberto Pigatto Baratto, Esneider Gil (2), Samir Gross - his 100th goal for the Terriers - and Onder Chamoun.

Almost did it. The impossible come back. Lost the first leg down to neglecting bonus condition and morale but almost won. Scored 4 goals to take the aggregate lead 6-5 but he scored on the 72nd minute and he went through on away goals. Well done pal well deserved.
This feature benefits virtually only Nordeus; signing the 4 star player will cost you a relatively significant amount of tokens, while signing and then selling the 2 star player will cause other users to spend tokens in bidding for him in the auction market. The amount of virtual money obtained by selling the 2 star players is insignificant compared to the amount that will be needed at the level concerned. There might be a small benefit for teams that have always been on the brink of being in debt for the last few seasons or teams that lack players in their team, but other than that, it does not provide any advantage to the user.
Briefly, not only for this feature but for many other things in this game, Nordeus makes use of its users to make money. That is, the users are indirectly doing a lot of the business work for the company without realising it.
End of this league might get akward. Lots of suspensions looming.

Lost today's match, finding myself back at 8th position after climbing to 5th yesterday. Only two points behind 4th place though. Maybe it's still possible.

Today we won 3:0 against last, because he didnt had 11 players available, first game i won 10:0, i just hope goal diference dont screw me.
Yes, we are ready. It was a rocky start, and the personnel reshuffle necessary to keep up with the best teams is never fun, but we have new stars and new hopefuls. We are in the 1st place in the league, made the Cup finals and are well positioned to make the CL filnals.
What have you learned from last season? That the app is burning obscene amounts of data that can put many data plans over the edge. Thank goodness my provider upped mine to 20 Gb for free.
Where did you place last season? TREBLE!
What's your current level? 10
What's your budget for this season? 100M
Who do you want to replace? Fast training AMC who does not see any action due to my formation preferences, and who did not make a good AMR.
What are your goals for this season? Answering this late in the season, I would have to say TREBLE number 2.
What's your training level? 36
Day 24 - Palace teams report.
Palace Terriers started with a League match at home to 4th place, and seemed to be heading for another home win, but the visitors found another gear and levelled the score late on. Roberto Pigatto Baratto scored the Terriers goals.

Palace Casuals visited 3rd place, yielding 1.5Q, and put up a sterling defensive performance, conceding a goal halfway through the second half for a 0-1 defeat. Anatoliy Mustafa made his 100th appearance for the Casuals.

Palace Terriers resumed battle in the Cup Semi-Final, travelling away in the 2nd Leg with a 1-0 lead to protect from the 1st Leg against their Level 12 and 2.1Q better opponents. Again defensive play was the order of the day, and halfway into the first half Esneider Gil netted a 30-yard strike to give Terriers the lead and hand the home side a 3 goal target if they wanted to qualify for the Final. Abdou Ewagnignon tried to make the job even harder for the visitors by conceding a penalty to gift the hosts an equaliser, but the rest of the team rallied round and produced a superb performance to keep the score level and get Terriers into the Final with a 2-1 aggregate score.

Day 25 - Palace Terriers League report.
With a vital Champions League Semi-Final match later on in the day, and an away trip to the basement club in the League, the Management took the opportunity to rest a few key players and the mainly reserve team tidied up quite nicely. Samir Gross played lone striker in a 4-1-4-1 counter-formation and helped himself to 4 goals, and assisted in three others. Right-back Onder Chamoun bagged a brace and midfielder Niklas Schlaudraff and left-back Rasmus Jensen chipped in with one each.

I feel like shooting myself :D
I decided to checkout the other CL semifinal second leg. One side who is one my friend list) was 5-1 down from his home game. His entire squad is all 7 and 8 starred players with SAs. He knocked me out in the semi last season. A 3-1 in the first game and then he parked the bus in the second and rode out a 0-1 loss. Seeing he was NEVER going to get through I clicked the support button. I kind of felt sorry for him.
Silly me, he turned a 1-0 advantage at halftime into a 5-0 win. Amazingly despite the fact that he was chasing the game and was probably allout attack 4 of his goals were scored on the break.12 shots to the oppos 10 and 5 ended up in the onion bag.
Needless to say I will need to pull out all the stops to win the CL.
Fun fun fun
Am I gonna make it? it is too exciting /nervewrecking :eek::eek:

my left back Saragosa has scored five goals in two games extraordinary!
Great win today against 5th, make me keep 2nd place, and with 8 points ahead of 8th, i can say promotion is garantied.

Bessa made a hat trick and was the hero of the match, he is now 4 goals away of being the club top scorer of all times.
Day 25 - Palace teams report (2/2).
Palace Casuals were at home against 9th in the League, and packing a 3.0Q advantage, but the game thoiught otherwise and goals from Maarten Weigman and Massimiliano Gerini weren't enough to stop the home side crashing to a 2-3 defeat.
Attachment 65956
Having lost to their Champions League opponents in the 1st Leg of the Semi-Final, Palace Terriers were on a mission to score three goals, but a combination of hard-defence orders by the opposition (who didn't bother to turn up) and the Nordeus machine, again, thwarted their ambitions. Out at the Semi-Final of the CL, again, 0-2 on aggregate.
Attachment 65957
Not much hope in the Cup Final - perhaps the Management should set up a defensive formation, hard-defending with counter and not attend - that seems to be the recipe for a win against higher Quality opponents nowadays. So much for the skill element...

Day 26 - Palace Terriers Cup report
Pre-match summary read that Palace Terriers were 105%, their opponents were 114.5% and 1 Level higher, so 4-4-2 Classic, hard-defending, force counter, mixed passing, mixed focus was selected in response to the opponents 5-3W-2 formation. The Management was out and about this morning, and arrived back to log in to TE with 59 minutes played. Terriers were 1-0 up, a friend was patiently supporting, and the opposition manager absent. Possession and defensive bonuses activated for the last 30 minutes, and a couple of poorly-performing players substituted. Terriers won 1-0...

C/l final 1:30 am jokers oh well you can shove it
At least it is not 3 hours after a match. I just played my Cup final. It was fixed around 3 hours after a league match, while the opponent did not play any match before on that day. The league match could not be moved (no pencil/pen sign).
By the way, I lost the final 3-0. The team was slightly weaker visually. I used 2 sets of proper counter tactics. Both failed. Match fixed? Most probably, yes. Indications were already there that the game was going to favour the opponent significantly.
Never mind. It is a good thing in some sense because I had already seen enough of unacceptable things happening in this game. This just added to the rest. So, it will be one more reason for me to quit this game. :)
so now they are working against me .... that's really fairplay
by the way manager of FCB1900 is named michal drebber

Day 26 - Palace Terriers League report.
Back to the mundane this evening, as Terriers look to add the League Championship to their Cup Trophy won this morning. The opponents have the dubious record of inflicting Terriers biggest defeat of this season in the reverse fixture, and were still playing their narrow 3N-1-2-1-3 formation, against which the Terriers Management set the trusty 4-5-1V with defensive/counter/flanks, despite the 8.1 point advantage in Starting XI Quality. Midfielder Lukasz Sapela finally broke the deadlock in the 36th minute, and the home side were 1-0 up at the break. Immediately the second half started, Roberto Pigatto Baratto scored the first of his brace, and slipped home the second after the visitors pulled one back. A double substitution by the Terriers was immediately followed by another goal for the opposition, but striker Alessio Doratiotto made the game safe for the hosts with a minute to go.

Tomorrow is 2nd vs 1st, and this match was billed as the match that decided the destination of the League Trophy, but Terriers are thankful to the 12th place team, who beat 2nd this evening to give Terriers an unassailable lead and their second trophy this season.
