Autosubstitutions work in a different way now. You don't need to set them up, if you're offline during a match and suffer an injury, Top Eleven will automatically make a substitution and replace him with the player who can perform better in his position from the list of players available in the bench.

Is there an auto substitute system for the mobile app., where you can assign the players the positions like in the old browser version?
On the new browser version, there is no player pre-assignment for substitutions; it has been removed, which was a poor decision in some way because many users have other things to do and cannot always attend matches.

Are you sure about this? Because I have seen the game doing the substitution and putting the player to play out of position. I did not check if there was a better player for that particular position in the substitutions' list though.

    Yes, I am sure

Well it can happen that you don't have an ideal player for all possible positions your players are placed in a match. For example if you don't have any AMR in the bench and your AMR player gets injured, Top Eleven will select the player that can perform better in that position from the list of substitutes. It could pick an AMC (if you have it) for example. It picks the better of the available ones (not the better in terms of quality, the better in terms of position).

What if for a team the GK gets injured and there is no substitute GK available, who is put as GK by the game, the defender, the midfielder or the striker?

P.S: I am sure Nordeus missed or skipped some important things concerning GKs in this game as there have been many anomalies observed concerning GKs.

Who would you pick as GK subs if you don't have any GK? The system will pick the one that can perform better, probably a defender (as it matches more attributes with a keeper).

I would leave the injured GK on the field.
