Hi guys, today I have a very importand match for the 2nd leg of the playoff round in the Cup. So I noticed that my opponent changed his formation to exactly like mine..:confused: Is he trying to make out something of that? And what tactic should I use, man to man or zonal marking ? Any other ideas?
P.S. I lost 2-1 in the first match...
P.S.2 I use 4-1-2-1-2 or "Narrow diamond" as it is also called...
Who has the best starting 11? I play the same formation and find there's way more 'random' results when I play against someone with the same/similar formation. Normally the best starting 11 wins (obviously) but when I play against the same formation I quite often lose against worse teams or win against better teams (I won the CL final last season with quality 36-37 vs quality 44 with the same formation).
If he has the better team, I'd stick with it...
Try to change it to 4-5-1 V or something.. Same formation = bad. I know of people who have lost using the same formation despite being a better team
Strange i usually win using the same formation as the opponent and playing defensive hole pitch on sides and long pass :D ... or maybe i was lucky because i don`t use offside trap and i use only counter attack ?Quote:

When I put the first goal I immediatley switched to hard defending and put a fifth defender onto the game. I lost tons of chances whilst my opponent had 1 real chance and scored.. In the 87th minute!!! :mad:
I can't believe it.. I know it was predetermined so I can't say anything else.. if the game doesn't want you to win you won't.. as simple as that.
Anyway, hope to get the Champions League, that's my main ambition. And thanks for the help guys :)
