When to High Press and what settings should accompany it?

I've seen a few help guides and I remember one of them mentioning that in order to high press effectively you should have more offense than the opponent has defense. However, I wasn't sure if they were reffering to just the strikers and AMC/R/L and if that included all midfielders? If anyone has a knowledgeable opinion on this I would like to hear from you.

Also, if you're high pressing I'm assuming you would want to be in attack mode which would mean you should have the trap in affect, yes?

I would think you could get away with hard tackles too since you will be mostly in the opponents half and should not have to worry as much about free kicks and penalties, right?

    that's just a theory- scenario.
I don't know how can some one prove it in the game.

yes, that's the "pack". Specially if you want to "reverse" a bad result.
But nothing guarantees it 'll work
