Todays result was good 5-1 home win in the league and a star added to one of my midfields after todays training,
dont let the scorline fool you i had to fight hard for that result i was down 1-0 until the second half where a couple of subs made the real difference
that result takes me to 5 straight wins with 20 goals for and 4 against me
Strange day for my team. Struggled to a 1-0 win in CL, against weakest team in group. Beat team 3 places ahead of me in league, 8-0.
Bought a new defender this morning. First match he is m.o.m. Then he gets injured tonight in CL. That's my 7th injury this campaign.
Have a really in form striker. He's scored 10 goals in the space of 2 consequetive matches. (5 in each). Rested him for CL.

Cup W 8-0: The rotated squad quickly put the cup tie away in the first leg by scoring 4 goals in a space of the first 17 minutes.
League L 1-5: It was just one of those games I'm afraid, Conceded early goals, changed tactics, got injuries, just felt helpless and hopeless in a complete 90 minutes of frustration, Reminded me of a champions league final I played several seasons ago (a match I lost 5-0). Just can't believe the players never showed up for the game. Just annoying, Kick the water bottle time.
By 11am this morning, I'd played both of today's matches. First, league match and triumphed 6-1 (away). Then an hour later, I won my cup match, again away to a lvl 7 team (I am lvl 5), by 7-1.
For rest of day, I've just been hanging around, waiting for results of other teams in the league.
Also got my 2 youth players today. One was a 4* AML/AMC and they wanted 24 tokens. Now, I only had 1 player in my team to cover those positions. He was 5*, but was 31yo and in final year of contract. So I made the decision, and put him on transfer list. Got 2.1m for him and signed the youth player to take his place.
All in all, not a bad day.

In the return game of saturdays match seen me play at home and score 2 early second half goals... and at least the team didnt throw it away this time, the other result in the group went in my favour which means July Fourth qualify for the knockout stage.

Results For 27.11.2012 - Another day of frustration.
League L 0-1: Something is clearly not right with my team, This was a home game this time in the league and its a game they should be winning hands down. Its like Man Utd at home to Wigan this fixture, You feel like you cannot lose, but no. Team has most possession, most shots on goal and most on target and yet fail to score. I just cannot believe it, We have lost 3 games in a row, The league leaders also lost but it means nothing if you cant get 3 points from a simple home game. This could be just one of those seasons... Top 4 finish is no means certain now. Complete outrage.
Cup W 8-0: (16-0 agg) Another simple game but can we win the more important games lads instead of pissing around. Oh... and got 2 injuries as well to add to insult.
Away game in the league tomorrow, Bet I lose again...
18 straight wins, yep! I know, the dastardly engine will throw a spanner in the works soon, it did last season but three games earlier.

Into knockout stage of cup after win last night. Had 1 win and 1 draw in league since yesterday. Two more injuries though, taking tally in matches up to 8.
I'm sick of this game: For league matches I play against teams way weaker than mine! I have 17 average and this last team had 13... I lost 0-2 (the 2nd because i attacked with everything in the last minutes).
The game was super boring. I use 3 central defenders, 2 backwings, 2 MC, 1 AMC and 2 ST... And so few opportunities to score. Then the opponent gets an opportunitty -> goal.
I have a free kick (freekick hability) over the barrier, but the keero makes an awsome save! (the keeper is 2 stars (11 quality....) my keeper is 4 stars!). then loosing 0-1, i have an opportunity, shoot, defender blocks it, another shoot by another player of mine, blocked, then a 3rd chance, bocked away.............. really?! My strikers are 4 stars against 2 stars defenders..... SERIOUS?!
I watched the game, and had a fan supporting (15% ball possession)... the opponent didnt watch... And I lose?!... Right.
I'll stop playing it, maybe I'll start to win every game...
(PS: on the champin's league, i have 4 games, 4 victories, 13 goals scored, none taken... and the teams there are like those of my league. So really?! Make this game right please.)
I usually make minor adjustments if i sense my team is under performing. I had a mini blip last season losing a league game i really should of won, so increased the win bonus by +20k and didn't have any issues after that.Quote:

League W 2-1: A result that was needed in the current situation in the league with a 2-1 win away, 2 goals within minutes of each other were scored from my side, including a goal from lazy Benoit who I critized recently due to poor form, Opponents pulled one back from the penalty spot just before half-time but my team hanged on for the win during the second half and we finally get the 3 points and better news most of my rivals drew there games today, meaning it leaves me 3rd 2 points behind.
Champions League W 2-1: Another good result and similar to the league game, lead 2-0, opponents pulled one back and we hanged on yet again for the win, this sets up a showdown in the final group game at home which a draw would see us win the group.
Much better because its easy to lose interest when you start losing games.

I came away with a scrappy 0-1 away win had to play 4-3-3 and make my left and right mid play in centre, seemed to work as i finally kept a clean sheet..I'm 2nd and i have to play 1st tomorrow :) I really am quite happy to finish in the top 4 at this present stage
