Another cup final to attend.
0-3 win today giving a 7-0 aggregate.
MY opponent, well I flagged the two teams I'd have to beat to win after round three of the group stages.
The highest quality team in the comp made it through today 0-4 after a 3-3 in his home leg.
He picked up a couple of bookings in his match so now has two suspended. Which will help a little.
I've a few ideas how to give him again but the gap in quality is huge and without possession bonuses, could be a bridge to far form my lads.
Would be nice to hear how some of you would approach his team, he plays on the counter through the centre.
Here his his team he has played every game.
Mine below is just from the last match, I wont be posting my intentions.
Just won 0-1 against third, the title edges closer, 1 more point will be enough barring a few heavy defeats.
Played the total football formation for the first time, I'm sure with a more moderate approach by the game engine the score would have been higher, food for though at least. Stronger MC and DC would have helped I think.
Cup final tomorrow at 12.00, no training tonight for the lads, exercise first thing then a light lunch and a good shag.
Hmmm! the game engine just gave second place a 0-6 win away from home, is the engine going to throw a couple of defeats my way trying to make it a battle to the end.
I play the same team he has just beaten tomorrow, guess I'll know what's in store after that match.
It's the team in 5th place, a defeat for fourth tomorrow who I beat today and the the team I play beats me, that leaves the league title and 4th place going into penultimate game.
