Desert Rats found their opponents in their latest away League match had upgraded their team during the day (4 players in, 6 out) so they were better in starting XI quality by the time came for their 00:08 kickoff. The home side took the lead just after the half-hour, and were getting the better of the match, until their goalscorer had a rush of blood to the head and got his marching orders in the 65th minute. As he was the primary marker for the Rats' flying right-winger, the game turned in the visitors favour, the liberated Emerson de Alencar Arraes scoring twice in the last 18 minutes to give Desert Rats a 2-1 win.

Lucked out in the CL in the away leg in absentia, happy I played the home leg so well.
2:0, 3:1 Scored in the 86' to go through in a +1 level. Tough matchup in the semi but I have beaten this opponent in previous season league matches.

Desert Rats FC hosted the League leaders in their home match today, with their new purchase Goalkeeper (5*/44Q, 1T in a strangely quiet TM early in the morning - first training session progressed to 6* :) ) making his debut between the sticks. Playing 4-4-2 against 4-2-3(AM,W)-1, the match was a war of attrition, with occasional frenzied patches. For the second match running, one of the opposition was sent for an early shower, but this time the Rats couldn't take advantage of the extra man and the match petered out in a tame 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, the next game in the league against Viet Nam ended in 1-0 win.

Cup Semi-Final day, and the Desert Rats Management checks on their opposition, but finds a complete blank. No previous form, no trace of them ever having played a match, League standings unavailable - bot team! Checks the other two Semi-Finalists, same result. Desert Rats FC had an awayday to the form team of the League, and conceding 10%/2.4Q to their hosts, expected a tough match. Right-winger Emerson de Alencar Arraes kept up his goal-a-match form since his arrival with the first goal after just 5 minutes play, and four minutes later, striker Matt Goggin forced home a corner from midfielder Glenn Seynaeve to put the Rats two up and the travelling support in raptures. The home side pulled a goal back on the stroke of half-time from a free-kick set piece, but all their work was undone when a penalty box infringement immediately after the break earned the transgressor a yellow card and Goggin the chance to put the Rats further ahead from the spot, and he didn't miss. The rest of the match was a stroll in the park to a 3-1 win for the visitors, spoilt only by an injury to Seynaeve, and he will be out for 6 days.
