Players rating downgraded

Hye newbie here, I just won the league for the first time (just started early this month), and today I have a cup match

I noticed that all my players rating were downgraded

Some 4 stars players are now 3 stars, and 5 stars are 4 stars

Can someone explain why? I have been developing them for weeks but suddenly to have them downgraded frustrates me

Surely its gonna be a one sided match today considering my rating now 46% while the opponent is about 69%

My team used to be 76% average tho

In the beginning of new season (if you are promoted to higher lvl ) players will lose one star ( 20% ).
If you don't get promoted, no stars will be reduced...

Your players quality rating has not been down graded .
Search the forum as there are many threads covering this.

The ratings aren't downgraded, When a season comes to an end, your manager level is increased, so the same exist for your team, If your team to the last season had 90+ % of quality and today they have been "DownGraded" it's just because of your promotion to the next level and mainly your team will become even stronger anytime you are leveling up each season.

I bought two star strikers for 69 coins each, they were both 116% skill. I trained them up to 123% skill at the end of the season. When I was promoted they went down to 99%. I wrote to Nordeous about this and all I got back is, "Oh well sometimes these things happen" I was not happy at that reply as these strikers could have actually cost me real life money, so I wrote back, with nothing back. I filled in the customer review form and said what had happened on there and they did not bother to reply. Not very good for a person who has been around since the start of the game really....
