Buying players to sell on?

Anyone else do this at the end of the season? Just bought a load of 3 star players, 1 token so i can sell them during silly season in a few days, its also lowered the average quality of the team, though its more about making in game cash than anything else

I never did that in my 9 seasons...I occasionally used to snap up free agents in earlier levels but now I stopped doing it since I'm in a server where a Thai guy buys every free agent guy he sees :P

I don't usually have extra slots in my team but in my lower level teams I have bought high value free agents and sold them on, I haven't tried what you have said, I would be afraid to get stuck with them.

I'm Level 2 and always look out for free agents to maximise revenue. Don't spend silly amounts of tokens on them though, after round 3 if they are not mine, then best left alone. There are many that crop up every day

Buying 3* players at the end of the season i do not think is a good idea, since they lose a star, and can lose depending of age 15 to 20% of there market value.

i keep a couple spaces open for two reason`s

1st, my youth player i get rid off token one and sign non token then train rest of season to sell on at start of new season

2nd if i see free depending on age i try and sign mid season and before so again can train and sell on at start of new season but i won`t bid till last second if no bidders, if someone bids same time as me then again next round even if bid last second i see it as only lost one token

i`v got two 25yr olds for one token each and they will improve so even if they go down in value next season when added skill point`s on there value will go back up

Theyll lose a star for me but on the transfer market they well be 3/4 or 5 * players, depending on whos looking at them. Even if they lose 20% market value during the first few days of transfer madness i reckon most of them will go for nearly double there market value

Can guarantee you would not be left with them and youd make a profit on them, remember to some managers these guys will be 5 star players. I only had 2 free spaces, the rest are unsigned and will be signed once i sell some of the others. i got 5 guys for 7 tokens, ive paid just over 20 million for them and ill let u know how much i recoup. Might not be worth my while but thought id test it out as i usually make decent profit from the players i offload at the start of the season
