I would certainly switch to a 451V and take out the 2nd ST. Short passes tend to be better if you feel you are the favorite.
Also remember that ratings don't matter as much as the player. Ratings are just a measure of skills, not performance. My AML is only 2 stars and he won MVP last season. I am level 37.
