Thanks a bunch. I somehow completely missed that thread, didn't see that announcement video either. Jesus ****ing Christ, what on earth are they proposing there? Has it come to this, really? If that **** is coming, I'm definitely done with it!

So... I expect another season without a triple... :(
Once again my league draw is absurd. This is so annoying this quality based criteria. My group average quality is 120% :(((( Other groups: 85 - 90 %. This is not fair. I am at 120 %, but so are all my opponents, which means that 6 of us will not be promoted and on the other hand many bad teams from other leagues (even abandoned) will also win promotion. So you try to better and improve your squad and the reward from Nordeus is a league draw tougher than a Champions league. Am I suppose to cheat with quality in order to get weaker league opponents and promote? This is not fair and it goes on forever already. League draw should be based on playing with friends, not based on playing the strongest possible manager every season. Playing against the same and strongest managers every season instead of friends is not fun, it's a nightmare, created by Nordeus to make us spend more money yet again.
My fresh new wings have started the season pretty loud, with 3 goals and 4 assists all together
I think they will be a great couple.
I will call them
CREAMY BANANA

Home Guard FC started their Champions League competition with a 2-1 away win over an equally-rated team, Brice Morel and Ellis Wardell the scorers before the home side got a late consolation.
Home Guard are among top rated teams in their League, and are looking forward to a more competitive League season this time round. There are a couple of abandoned-looking teams also, so prospects of some goal-difference boosts - or Troll results.

Home Guard opened their League campaign with a home match against one of the abandoned teams, the three subs and four of the starting XI being 34yo players with no previous season matches. Ellis Wardell got an early brace in before Alejandro Pusineri became the Guard's first injury victim of the season - the medical report listed a concussion and he will be back in action again tomorrow. The visitors pulled a goal back late in the first half; Brice Morel, Firat Yoldas and Hudson Mendes Ribeiro scored in the second-half to give Home Guard a convincing 5-1 win.
Desert Rats FC started their Champions League campaign off with an away 0-1 defeat at the hands of a team -4%Q. The home side scored in the 9th minute, and despite having the majority of possession during the match, Desert Rats couldn't break down a resolute defence.
The League for Desert Rats is looking like the invasion of the Turks. No less than 10 teams have Turkish allegiance, and the Italian one is based in Istanbul...

Desert Rats' first League match was away against the Portuguese team, and they survived an early wave of fouls to record a 4-0 win. Moritz Maiwald scored from a free-kick and had two assists, so was the worthy recipient of the MoM award. Patrick Tillmanns and a late brace from Mukhtar Hassan completed the scoring.
Thanks to madflo and Niko for their support today.
