Once again my league draw is absurd. This is so annoying this quality based criteria. My group average quality is 120% ((( Other groups: 85 - 90 %. This is not fair. I am at 120 %, but so are all my opponents, which means that 6 of us will not be promoted and on the other hand many bad teams from other leagues (even abandoned) will also win promotion. So you try to better and improve your squad and the reward from Nordeus is a league draw tougher than a Champions league. Am I suppose to cheat with quality in order to get weaker league opponents and promote? This is not fair and it goes on forever already. League draw should be based on playing with friends, not based on playing the strongest possible manager every season. Playing against the same and strongest managers every season instead of friends is not fun, it's a nightmare, created by Nordeus to make us spend more money yet again.

My fresh new wings have started the season pretty loud, with 3 goals and 4 assists all together

I think they will be a great couple.
    I will call them

Do I miss Kraxner? Yes, for sure. He was more than a year at my team.

Do we need him? I don't think so.

Home Guard FC started their Champions League competition with a 2-1 away win over an equally-rated team, Brice Morel and Ellis Wardell the scorers before the home side got a late consolation.

Home Guard are among top rated teams in their League, and are looking forward to a more competitive League season this time round. There are a couple of abandoned-looking teams also, so prospects of some goal-difference boosts - or Troll results.

    Season 92 - Are you ready?-s03-l03-league-initial.jpg

Home Guard opened their League campaign with a home match against one of the abandoned teams, the three subs and four of the starting XI being 34yo players with no previous season matches. Ellis Wardell got an early brace in before Alejandro Pusineri became the Guard's first injury victim of the season - the medical report listed a concussion and he will be back in action again tomorrow. The visitors pulled a goal back late in the first half; Brice Morel, Firat Yoldas and Hudson Mendes Ribeiro scored in the second-half to give Home Guard a convincing 5-1 win.

Desert Rats FC started their Champions League campaign off with an away 0-1 defeat at the hands of a team -4%Q. The home side scored in the 9th minute, and despite having the majority of possession during the match, Desert Rats couldn't break down a resolute defence.

The League for Desert Rats is looking like the invasion of the Turks. No less than 10 teams have Turkish allegiance, and the Italian one is based in Istanbul...

Desert Rats' first League match was away against the Portuguese team, and they survived an early wave of fouls to record a 4-0 win. Moritz Maiwald scored from a free-kick and had two assists, so was the worthy recipient of the MoM award. Patrick Tillmanns and a late brace from Mukhtar Hassan completed the scoring.

Thanks to madflo and Niko for their support today.

Am I ready for the new season? I suppose I have to be! Yet another though league draw, number six in a row and counting...
    Just to illustrate, here is the league composition for this season;

Team 1;111.8% (2 seasons ago, winner)
    Team 2;108.4% (last season third)
Team 3;107.0% (My Team, runner-up last season)
    Team 4;106.7% (last season winner)
    Team 5;103.7% (3rd 2 seasons ago)
    Team 6;101.9% (4th last season)
    Team 7;98.9% (5th last season)
    Team 8;97.5% (4th 2 seasons ago)
    Team 9;92.6% (new team)
    Team 10;89.2% (new team)
    Team 11;87.1% (new team)
    Team 12;68.4% (new team)
    Team 13;63.9% (new team)
    Team 14;41.8% (new team)

Played my first league match this afternoon vs Team12, and barely won by 2-1 at home (+38.6%) with a last minute goal.

    Short stats; Possession: 79%-21%, Total shots: 28-4, shots on goal 12-1, shot efficiency 9%-100%, free-kicks 5-0, corners 9-2, YC 0-6, RC 0-0

Not to mention, CL & Cup +1Lvl. as usual... League full of Russians, Putin's adjutants (5 of them this season), all of them owning token-pipelines, as their teams consist mostly of scout players. The two best teams within the Cup field already have an average quality of 131.6 respectively 125.7. CL three +1lvl. teams already over 120% quality.

I'm really not an supporter of tanking, but if that **** continues I just might be forced to tank a season for the sake of my health...

I am even worse. I got top 8 from last season back in my league again this season, plus 4 managers from 2 seasons ago and only one new manager. This is terrible. Where is the joy of playing the same managers each and every season? And no friends. League draw should be random like it was in the past before Nordeus created the current nonsense.

Not a bad third day for both teams. Both CL matches were won easily. First team won the league match with 4-0 Marco van Basten is on a role this season. 4 games and 7 goals and 2 assists. He never played better. Lets hope he keeps this form

My second team had a bad day in the league. Faced an advisary 12% weaker then him. We owned the game. OWNED.

    Him vs me
    Possession 42 vs 58%
    Shots 14 vs 20
    On target 5 vs 13!
    Saves 5 vs 0
    Corners 1 vs 7
Ratings 0,5 higher for my team

End score is the logical 3-3. Oh well, it happens.

Home Guard FC had some Recommended players from their Assistant Manager this morning, and the Management decided to shell out on a nice left wing-back...

    Season 92 - Are you ready?-hg-marlon-kelly-79t.jpg

Then, just to illustrate the perversity of the new Transfer Market, the Management managed to lighten the squad by two 3*/20Q players by selling them at a premium to their Market Values, making a mockery of the efforts of Desert Rats efforts to move on two 3* players with higher relative Quality. Thus midfielder Alban Haag and left-back Yassine Wissam have departed the team.

The new recruit wasn't needed to boost the team's Quality as they embarked upon their second League match of the season with a 46% advantage over their hosts, but he saw a real game of two halves. The visitors were three up by the break, with a brace from Ellis Wardell followed by a defensive one-two as right-back Jeffrey Knubben and DMC Juan Pablo Medina passed their way through the home defence, Medina administering the coup de grace. After the break, Home Guard went off the boil a bit and let the home side back into the match, and they eventually scored to reduce their arrears, but the Management was by then making tweaks to the formation and personnel that then maintained the status quo until the final whistle, 3-1 being the final score.

The Round of 32 of the Cup beckoned in the afternoon, and Home Guard were at home against a team -17%Q. Again they put all their efforts into the first-half, Brice Morel netting a hat-trick in the first half-hour, and Matias Rolando replying to a sneak goal by the visitors just before the break to make the score 4-1. The second-half followed the same pattern, Home Guard easing off, but not through any Management changes, and the opposition taking advantage. The score remained the same, however, until two minutes from time, when a bit of indiscipline from Jeffrey Knubben resulted in a free-kick being despatched past the previously faultless Stefan Vavala to make the final score 4-2.
