is useful to add a skill to a player?

I'm new here in the forum.
I wanted to know if it was useful to add a skill to a player.
I saw that to do so requires 50 skill points.
50 points equals 3.3 points value (the average value of the player).
while the player learns the skill does not improve its level (or is it not?)

The skills are useful, but I would only train them on young and fast developers, that have already a good quality (18,19 years old, 4* close to 5* or 5*).

But instead of training them I would try to sign players that have already one. But take care. Many players look for them and that can lead to bidding wars.

Only if they are young and a fast trainer and you have plenty of green boosters to burn, otherwise its not worth it.
