I hope I will start a new trend here. Post your prematch conditions and let people guess how the match ended.

I could smell this from miles away, so I took preemptive screenshots of this.
Guess the result, guess the f***ing result! And don't ask me again why I'm looking for an alternative to TE (posted in the off-topic section), why condition, morale, counter formation (sorry to whoever did this useless job), quality and tactics don't f***ing matter.
Don't bother tanking, don't bother buying packs, it doesn't change anything at all. Just play it randomly to obtain random results.

This is happening with everyone, I keep losing against weaker teams although my team is all good from tactics to everything I even lost to 30%weaker team

I would accept a defeat since I won many trophies and I just want to keep a good association, but it makes me furious that it doesn't matter if you take care of your team. I built it to 8* players, everyone has SA and 2-3 roles, I get a very flexible formation, I racked up every pack to sustain any kind of unexpected events.
I prepare every match, I watch it, I follow my team, I keep it to high morale (preferably playing friendlies and then through packs). I manage to get the highest possession possible, trained my players to work out crossing and heading (which doesn't change ****), used counter formation and substituting players during the game when they don't perform good.
The result? You would get screwed anyway.

And this is what has make this game totally unplayable, the fact that it doesn't make you feel like you are actually doing a good management, because it doesn't matter. You don't get any real advantage through quality, tactics or preparation. Now, when you follow your team full time and get the best preparation possible and you still lose to a weaker team that you even countered, how do you feel? Of course, you don't matter to your team, it doesn't matter if it's managed or not, the total opposite of what a football manager should feel like. I am not the manager of my team, randomness and result generator is.

Honest, I do not want to sound like the professor here but the quality difference was not enough to guarantee you a win in any case. Not to mention that you played the wrong tactic. I'm a 4-5-1V addict and I never EVER play it against 3 MC tactics. In this case the almost perfect counter would have been the 3DC-1DMC-3-2W-1 I use with every team with no wingers (which, to my opinion, is a major mistake in this game). Again, this would not have raised the odds to 100% in your favor, but I would have bet on you for sure.

gizzmo, dont get me wrong, but Tyltyl is right in everything he says.......it doesnt matter....Tyltyl is an experienced manager, look at hes history trophys.....and this is hapenning all over across the game to everyone....is more then clear that something had chnaged in game mechanic......im not saying that is intentional or acidental but something is very wierd with all this kind of results.....i didnt get it if hes oponente LDU Nantes was on at time of the game but i bet he wasnt....as he wasnt on first leg i bet...

Hi gizzmo, I onestly think that Tyltyl is right and I explein why. First, the differences betwen the two team is nearest to 20%, it means the Winning Eleven is playing with a team 1 level below. I remind you that when you pass to an higher level you loos the 20% of your strongness.
In my opinion Top Eleven game is not close to a real game. Imagine the Juventus plays against Spal (1 division below) and must be aware of module, tatics and so on. It could happen that if they play 10 matches, maybe one is not a good match, but if you consider that in the cup you play two matches it is impossible to loose with a player with 20% less than you!!!
This is my opinion... I understand the frustration of Tyltyl. We spend many times to prepare the match and then we loos with so lower player!!! For that reason, also in other post I asked if somebody knows the algorythm used by top eleven to decide who will be the winner.

Also another thing that I have noticed in 7 seasons of this game (me but also my friends); several time, in Champions or Cup, when a team wins the first leg with at least 3 gol of difference, in the second leg the engine, probably to "rebalance" the match, sent off a player of the winning team of the first match.

Already happened 5/6 times to stay in 10 in the return match after winning 3-0 in the first match. Red card always in the first 45 minutes. usually I don't play hard tackling, just as information.


It's not random for me, but a precise game algoritm.
