Prize Money
Just a suggestion/observation.
Does anyone else think that the prize money for finishing positions in a competition are too close? Example: I am level six this season and the prize money for winning my league is 12.1 Million and the runner-up gets 11.6 Million ..a difference of exactly 0.5 Million.
Now, to me at my current level a difference of half a million really isn't that much and in terms of money, I don't really mind if I don't manage to win my league because the difference in prize money isn't all that great.
Surely the gap in prize money should be increased to make it more of an incentive to win.
Also, even at level 6 is coming 7th really worth 8.8 Million? Seems a bit much to me for someone who managed to place exactly mid-table!

Agree. I think 1st place should have much more than the rest
-
I dont care if I won 0.5m more or less, but i would be pissed if I get second. I play to win, not to get second.
But yeah, I'm very competitive in games, I hate to lose^^

Well yeh of course but I did say in terms of money.
Obviously I wouldn't be as happy as runner-up, but my bank balance would be next to no different.
I do think prize money should be looked at, there should be a much bigger gap for the winner and a lot less for 4th-7th.

Could a mod please move this into the "Suggestions" sub-forum btw? Only just realised, sorry!

the CL prize money is too low!

on this i agree, same prize money for Cup and CL seems just wrong

No... I disagree, have a look at Premier League prize money:
1st - £16m
2nd - £15.2m
3rd - £14.4m
4th - £13.6m
5th - £12.8m
6th - £12m
7th - £11.2m
8th - £10.4m
9th - £9.6m
10th - £8.8m
11th - £8m
12th - £7.2m
13th - £6.4m
14th - £5.6m
15th - £4.8m
16th - £4m
17th - £3.2m
18th - £2.4m
19th - £1.6m
20th - £0.8m
So T11 leagues prize money pretty much follows that basis, It is unknown if any prize money for 8th to 14th is awarded in the T11 leagues.
