Game glitch!!!

So yesterday i had a league match that i was really looking forward to, because it would guarantee my 1st position in the u23 leaderboard.. My opponents best result of the season is a draw, i only for me to be awarded a win without playing the match and the reason is he doesn't have an eligible 11 which he did.. Now my nxt opponent is the 1st on the leader board with 3 points advantage.. And has a better team than mine.... Did anyone else experience the glitch? What really happened?
