Increase In Player's Wage

Before, as some of us know, a player's wage would temporarily increase after he has gained in quality (usually noticeable after lots of training). This was considered to be a visual 'bug' as reloading the game would put back the wage of the player to its original value. But lately, I have noticed that the wage no longer goes back to its original value. The game could be taking out that extra money from the club's cash reserve too. I have players that were bought 2 seasons ago, and their wages have increased without them signing any new contract.
