    Defenders taking shots on goal?

I just lost a game in which my defenders (all marked with blue arrows) took more shots on goal than my attacking midfielders and strikers! Why are my defenders taking shots on goal?!? On a corner maybe! Not during play. My defenders should not be dribbling and shooting on goal!!

The team I lost to was grossly out-matched: end of season 3 and he still has all 1 star and 2 star players on the field. (compared to my 4,5 and 6 star players). Also after three seasons he has made zero (0) upgrades to his stadium or facilities!! I get the whole thrill of the match thing but lets be a little realistic about it!!

I think your team was too aggressive. Lay off the red arrows bro.

You tend to get your strikers 1v1 against the keeper then they tend to pass it to one of your defenders for a shot on goal.

i have noticed myself that the commentary a lot of the time features my strikers passing to defenders and them running for shots... abit weird but cant complain if i win
