Win the auction but could not get the player

As per attached, I have won the player but i cannot get the player, the status of the bidding is just appeared as waiting while there is no other bidder. I have face this situation for the third times (as shown in the attachment), few minutes before im posting this, i bid for 2 players which the position is striker and i should be winning the auction as no other bidder as well but end up i cannot get the player.

Please advise!

have you reached the maximum of players?
22 players is the maximum you can have

maybe just a bug :D

You can have more than 22 players. You can only SIGN 22 players, you can have more than 22 in your roster but you have only 7 days to sign players not in your 22. i have had 28 players after I won 6 players on auction and I always have a full squad of 22.

Are you getting the "WAIT" message for ages?

Used to happen to me, i would lose the connection frequently with Firefox. I switched to Chrome and it's a lot more consistent. It's VERY annoying as you don't get those tokens back.
