I've seen in other threads with players playing for one club until they retire. (also manages a high star ability)

As you get promoted each player loses a star.

How could I keep my players up for the league, each year I get promoted.
I don't like tanking as it is very boring. (it also scars my club history)

But, I also like getting my team to a 7-8 average.
