I didnt promote to higher league, but my players lose stars!

I finished as 9th in previous championship. Didn't qualified to CL or SL and i suppose i should stay in same league with same players... but new season start and my players lose 20% of their quality! why??

I didnt promote for sure.

my team was on 107% now its 88%

As far as I know if you hit the top you don't lose star even if you're in the first 8.

They loose 20% cause you reach a level above even by finishing 9th

How can i get lvl if i finish 9th, get out of knockout in 1/16 in Cup and Super League... that have no sence...

I spend about 140 tokens for all new players last season... then I lose in league from much weaker teams, even when i play and they don't, i make subs, change formations, use boosters... nothing help... then 20% weaker team beat me 0:5 in Cup and 15% weaker team in Super league 0:4...
then i finish 9th and they promote me, just to screw me... nothing else... just to fu.k my team to 88%. then i need to spend more tokens to buy all team again or I will not to play CL or SL 2 season...

That's true.
As you move to the top of your server, you might have more "surprises".
Some time all the teams are promote (12 or 14 teams), some times none.
It depends from the server and the creation of the league or ch.l.
