I got robbed

I beat a very superior opponent in the Champions League semi final 1st leg 2-0 and when I return to the game the result changed to 2-1 and I ended up losing the second leg 1-0. It shows that the goal was scored in the 37th minute when it never happened. So I got knocked out by phantom goal and got robbed of my fourth Champions League final appearance in a row. That hurts a lot. Can someone please explain how is this possible? Is it a glitch or is the person cheating somehow? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Ghost goal. Either you temporarily lost your internet connection (most likely cause) or there was a server issue and it reset the game in progress (rare). Unlucky that ghost goal robbed you.
