League, round 9 - Perfect Tactics 7-0 El Barca FC
    Perfect Tactics: 51.7, 3N-3N-2W-2 (45' 3N-1-3N-2W-1)
    El Barca FC: 35.0, 4-3N-3

Another big win and we seem to be on a run after that 0-0 draw 2 days ago. Eastgate was excellent today for once, he started off the scoring on 11 minutes when he shot from long range, he then made it 2-0 before half time from a counter attack. We didn't seem to be scoring as many as we were too attacking and we kept passing it around, so we put off a striker and put on a DMC and then the floodgates opened. Nascimento made it 3-0 from a counter attack before Eastgate completed his hat trick Mata's pass found him to shoot high past the goalkeeper. Petersen got a goal from long range before Mata helped himself to a goal after going through and finishing for 6-0. Late in the game, Miranda scored from an indirect free kick putting his tally to 2 goals in 2 games, both as a sub.

    Goals: Eastgate (11', 40', 54' HAT), Nascimento (50'), Mata (62'), Petersen (55'), Miranda (81')
    MOTM: Petersen

    League, Matchday 8

    New Team [4-1-2-1-2] 7 - 0 QUebrantahuesos FC [4-1-2-3]

An apparently easy win against the 2nd on the board, which tho was a bit harder to chew than we expected despite the final result. We started strongly attacking their middle managing a wide ball possession (67%), even tho not being able to pierce through the defence lines for a long time. We were perfect into blocking any attempt of the guests on the other side, till the end of first half neared an Ivor Hardy decided to draw a perfect cross for our captain Oliver Hutton (now fully merged with the team's schemes) who headed right behind the keeper's reach the 1-0 (45'). In the second half we rested Denver and Hardy letting in the two top performing reserves lately: Philip Callaghan and Julian Ross (another 8 rating for him); before the sub, tho,Hardy managed to serve another perfect assist for Diamond who signed the 2-0 (48'). Becker makes it 3-0 right after (52'). Lenders replaced Mason and the fresh meats brang up a ruckus: Fubuki Shirou crowns another big performance by runnigh through the line's defense and assisting Hutton for an easy tap-in and the 3-0 (65'). Again Hutton is found ready to receive a pass from Lenders and, after having jumped the keeper, beats in the 4-0 (74'). Shirou is unstoppable on the right wing and again manages past the midfield, finding Becker at the Area's limit who cannons down the keeper with a powerful right (82'). It might seem finished but the Captain Hutton doesn't want to stop to a hat trick and rides alone through the defense, beating on one on one the keeper for his POKER and the final 7-0 (85').

Scorers: Oliver hutton (4), Tom Becker (2), Paul Diamond.
MoM: Oliver Hutton (9), New Team.

    League, Standing

We managed to improve our lead and at the moment, none seems to be able to catch up with us.

    Champion's League, Standings

Games are over here it seems with two matches left, against the 3rd and 4th.

    Cup, Last 16's Draw

Not the best sort out, but not the worst either. Of the final 16, 12 are in the same League (the strongest), where Koln is currently first, William Asset 3rd, Bar Aurora 4th, Kaiserslauten 5th and Cambasso 6th, with 8 points between the first and the last. SO it does seem this guy know how to play, and gonna be a felt Italy-Germany on top eleven too. Scout team, with the classical "let's 3-5-2 V super offensive and win by overwhelming quality", which is anyways less bothering than the Viet guy faced before. We got a fair chanche untill the semifinals, cheer New Team up!

    4-1-2-1-2 works against 4-1-2-3?

    Interesting...

Never do 4-5-1 v against it, you'll get owned.

Ya i felt that in season 3 lol. Anyways, basically you cover everyone in his midfield and spar an extra AMC to attack freely (see Becker scoring twice, he's my AMC SS). 3 forwards can be tricky but i believe they are not if you hold a better Q defense (his FWs were 30ish while my defense averages 44).

I'm getting mad, its happens to me over and over:
    Season 39-cdb397ftfdzd68507.jpg

Better team? Check (Quality of the playing teams: 30.3 vs 21.3)
Right formation? Check (Both threads in the formation/tactics forum say 4-4-2 counters 3-2-3-2)
Better possession? Check (Dont know when I didnt have better possesson last time ...)

Winning? go **** yourself FC Zeon!

If this would happen once I dont mind, but it happened to me so often lately. And with two losses against weaker teams I could really drop out of CL after group stage, I have to beat the other strong guy in the concluding game (Q26.9 vs my 27.8).

And on the other side my second account team wins 6-0 and 5-1 in two games in 1h with an even team to the opponents, even without me watching. Like I cared.

^ Candidate for the Vent Thread? ;-)

So it's another easy win for Feeder AFC in the league, dominating possession 76-24 and recording 23 shots at goal with 9 on target. The 6-0 win gets us to 44 goals in out first 9 games and still a 100% record

    Season 39-t11-latest-match.jpg

Very pleased with James Watson's performance - he netted four himself and set up another 2. This kid will go far!

I kept my hopes on the CL group win alive by winning 8-0 against the weakest group member.. its all up to goal difference now, and my rival for the group win had 1 more goal before we both have the last two games against the 2 weak teams... lets see if he can keep up with this! I guess he will put some extra effort after he sees my result, and he gets the more defensive of the 2 weak teams first.

no injuries either, so a perfect game.

I do not like negotiations and promised myself i'd just refuse everything right away.

    But...

    Dis is appealing. If only i could have a spare ML/AML around before it expires D;
