CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER-FINAL PREVIEW
July Fourth vs ST.KOOZ United Tonight
ST.KOOZ United vs July Fourth Saturday
July Fourth 108.3 - ST.KOOZ United 100.3
We play the strongest remaining team other than ourselves Tonight and Saturday over 2 legs in the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League. Looking at the draw this is a tough game none the less and should be taken very seriously but a home fixture first meaning that we need a good performance tonight to make sure we are not sweeting on some nerves on Saturday, but ST.KOOZ United have done well so far, they also qualified from the group stages with 18 points but were shaky in their 2nd leg losing 1-0 but having won the first leg 3-2 they advanced on away goals, they are currently in a poor 12th position in their league but its the CL they have done well but we expect July Fourth to show superiority again over the 2 legs. They have a small 15 player squad but it is a 5* first XI and these can be difficult to beat especially if we are not on our game.
They have Martin Gigena suspended but they have removed him from his line-up and we presume they are happy with the 4-3N-1-2 formation here, Bojan Markovic is there main in-form striker with 19 goals and also Elvir Alstig has got 15 goals, Seppe Itonga their playmaker has 11 assists and defenders Hamid Alavi or Youssef Ben Haj Mabrouk will likely be their main free-kick taker, If they get a penalty they have Juan Ospina as their specialist.
July Fourth have no suspended or injured players going into the tie and we have plenty of options available for our team selection for this game. We may opt for 4-1-3W-2 here since it worked well for us in the 1st leg of our last 16 game, but we may play our default formation which is a possibility, 4-5-1 V is also another option for a possible counter.
