Infinity tokens? How to bid?!

Okay before i vent my frustration here
just sharing something
i started playing this game back in 2013
played for a year, spent around $300 (Singapore Dollars) on token.
bought young/mid age players to set a good team
season after season, looking at players dropping star i told myself "okay! i had enough".

started playing late 2017.
now level 2, had 82 tokens, finished in two days (only got 3 players) (3 players (5.5 star) and 2 (5 star) for 80+ tokens?!)
people are so greedy, bidding a single player for more than 25 tokens.
Does all this people have INFINITY tokens?!

right now im only left with 8 tokens and i can't seem to buy any players
i'm shortage of 1 GK, 1 DR, 1 AML AMC AMR cuz i only have 17 players in my squad.

I'm so so pissed, i just told myseld i shouldn't have started playing this game again.
Quitted once.
My blood pressure is getting high.
My spouse told me, recently i'm super rude, kinda like easily lost control.
even told me to stop playing this game cuz "everytime you switch on this game you start to curse and swear"

Should i stop playing this game?
Or Is there a "best," trick to buy a player using less than 5-10 tokens?
i'm not gonna spend my money on tokens at the moment because i know even if i buy, i have to use more than 20-30 tokens for a single player
which mean every season (20+) days i have to spend like $250.
imagine how much money in a year.

btw Even when i tried bidding a 3 star player i need more than 5 tokens.

i just wish someone could donate me their Goalkeeper (my priority)... doesn't matter if its 2 star or 3. sigh.

I suggest you to stay level for a season and gather some resources, it impossible to be competitive with what you currently have. we already complained about the transfer market time ago and I think at this point it is useless to open the same talking points again even thou I completely agree with you.
I don't know it seems strange that 3 star players go for 5 T. I think that signing 4 star players will not be a problem, the first days may be a little overflown but try in different times because I'm sure there are periods when the TM is less flooded with people in my area is usually 12:00-13:00.

Don't worry to much about a game:D, just try to adapt and enjoy it. 18yo 5star players sadly go for 40 plus Tokens and that is something you have to balance in the next seasons, try using negotiations more when you have some T.

Appreciated man. Yes just put your players out of position to finish below the 8th place. Don't worry what people say it is you who decides how to play the game. Keep in mind that sometimes having a team that is not very strong can bring some advantages like having an easier cup and champions league competition, you'll eventually figure it out yourself :cool: Keep reading posts on the forum

good advised indeed. play the game that will suits you best( within your mean). Dont end up being frustrated and start banging your head on the brick wall hence blaming others for your poor management.[emoji111]

You can maintain a 7 star team without using the transfer market at all. Instead use negotiations, recommended and Academy players. Buy about 6 of these players and make them the core of your team then watch video ads and train them to at least 140% every season so that they begin a new season at 120%+, then if you buy a few 99% players on negotiation your team quality will shoot up to about 110% on day one of the season.

Please note that it costs almost the same to train a player from 5star to 6stars than 6-7stars,and having players begin the season at 120% quality will be much better than 100% and like I said it costs almost the same to train both, the only difference is the initial investment to push that player to 140% and since you're going to use him for many seasons it will be worth it.

I personally haven't signed a first team player from that ridiculous transfer market for the past 7 seasons yet my team averages 130% quality per season, with this tactic I was able to get my team up to 7 stars on day one of this season just by signing 2 players one scout and one 99% negotiation player.

You can't keep the team on 120-140% only on rests from videos, especially if players are getting old. It is possible, if you replace 2-4 old players with new FT every season, but even in this case you need several seasons to get to this quality. It will be 100-120% at first, then slightly higher and higher every season, until it reaches its ceiling.

hmm, i guess i'll just have to wait 2 more seasons to be able to do "negotiation".
But i don't know, should i stay back a season (like Kenotic suggested) or aim for Level 4(Nego.).

Those two levels are bidding in a different market.
It's a noob's madness there.
From the next, the competitors/bidders are from LV3 to top of the server so they have some logic.

I almost never use negotiations >_> Why do you like it? It's too expensive. To make a 5T offer, I have to pay 20T. For this money I can buy a player on the Market, and Academy players are significantly cheaper too.
I am ready to pay 79T for Recommended youngster, because they always perform really great. But Nego? Usually, no.

I have 9 players that I train, 7 of them are 23yo and above one of them is even 26.I still comfortably train them to 140% minimum every season the 26yo even gets to 150%. 30 rest packs per day is quite a lot of resource

Here is my player I signed about 9 seasons ago for 6 tokens. Since then he has always finished each season above 140%. He reached 150% at the end of last season so it was easy to train him back to 140% this season after he got the - 20% quality. It cost me about 100 rest packs that's just 3 days of farming. I can't really find a decent 18yo or 19 player for under 25T in the market to be honest (and that on a good day) and I usually finish my squad in the first days with the 1st week being the limit (To maximize the growth of my team). Negotiations are great way to sign 1 or 2 players to avoid the headache and in my case I've saved many Tokens and time. The TM can't really be avoided, but it can be minimized. Recommended players are great, but there is a lot of luck involved and the position suggested may not fill your needs (I got a GK rec. for the 4th time)plus 79 T aren't easy to throw away for somebody who is building a team from scratch. Academy players are great, at least the 4star one or 5 if you are lucky:D, but they do need some power training and happen only once in a season in early stages of the game.

The key is finding a balance, you have some core young players that will stick for you for many seasons, slowly rebuild the team around them, when the time comes you just keep them as reserves and so it becomes a habit. I only buy 2-3 essential new players a season and only spoil myself with a fast trainer if I want to.:D

im at level 2, i have a player at the age of 19 with 3 stars
Is it worth to train him like you do?

yes train him youngster will boost up very fast n they will give their best on the pitch

I bought him when he was 18 so he played: 18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26. That's 9 seasons!

100 tokens is enough to train a fast trainer 20% quality up, but at 26yo he's a slow trainer that's why I had to spend 100 rests to train him from 130-140% at the beginning of this season , that's just 10% increase but he will gain about 10% more quality before the end of the season from player of the match award. He has already won 2 this season

This is Not „how to play the game“ but „how to Not play it“. I mean.. This is a game for People having fun managing teams and showing their Skills. What is a victory worth if its not made by Skill but by using a hole in the System to Beat others.

I would recommend you to Transfer with players directly who are 2 or 3 levels above you. They are happy for getting tokens for 2-3 star players they dont need and you get a good player who is nearly scout and u21 for about 13 Token.

Using this technic i Managed to build up an 120% team without ever buying a single token or manipulating the league results.

I can't do that yet as i'm only on Level 2.
so...
I'm trying everything.
At the moment, i buy 3 star players and train em first.
Most likely if things don't work (like doesn't increase star/improve) i'll go for what Kenotic suggested.
Kinda like my main objective.

I just do not buy your nice story my friend: 100 greens to get one 25 years old player from 120 to 140%. Pure joke! It took at the very least 50 greens each to pump up my 5 18-years old FT from 5 to 6 stars.
And even if you could find one by luck (there is only one Messi after all!!), you'd need to do that 12 or 13 times to get a 140% team. Which makes almost 1500 packs. Easy as you said... Just tell us you are tanking or buying greens.

And if you believe that this game requires skills then define what do you mean by ''skills''. win a treble with a 3 star team in a higher level competition and then I will call yours skillzzz:). The only skill this game requires right now is managing resources, spotting your best players performances,trying to get a fair draw etc. Live matches don't care about our skills most of the time.

as day passes by, i gotta say you're spot on with your initial advice/tips.
with no tokens (everyday 1 :( which is not enough), it reqlly seems like staying back one season is way to go.
its like starting back from stretch but this time with more knowledges and 2-3 5.5 star players with more younger players better chance of moving forward eith satisfaction and results.

I don't tank and I don't buy tokens yet My team finishes each season at 130%. If you go back to my previous post you'll notice that my player Lionel Messi finished the previous season at 150%,so he started this season at 130% I used about 100 greens to pump him to 140% on day one of the season.

It's all about being smart and using the right transfer strategy for your team

This also worked wonder for me.

So far never bought any offer just buy 4-5* 18yo and power train them into 8*.
