Best way to train a player now?

Since the Gk method was removed.. What is the best way to train a player now?

Lets say a ST player.. Should i put a single exercise x6 (i.e fast counter attacks) or 6 different ones? Should i add defense and physical?

    Thanks in advance!

as long as main attribute below 150% you can easily up with any type exercise ( gk drill exception offcourse )

if there is one main attribute more than 150% , it will get little harder

    so, in simple word

Below 150% = easy to train and gain attribute(s)

    150% - 180% = a little bit harder

    more than 180% = hard & difficult

i've done it with my 2nd team, before my 19 y.o fast trainer ST has 151% finishing everything was so easy, but when he reach 151% finishing everything get harder to gain, even the other main attribute(s) below that number

you can train quite normally and skills above 150-180, but for this the exercise that you choose should affect other skills whose values are much lower.

So here is one thing I figured out so far:

If you want to improve high skills, you need to train drills in which at least one low skill is involved. So for example, I have a DC, his strength and fitness are above 200%.
When I train him Gym he absolutely gains no %, not a single one in 60 gyms. When I train him stretching, he improves in speed, which is a grey skill, but he also further improves his strength and fitness, which is quite interesting. So I actually need to train a grey skill, but grey skills improve slower than white skills and also with stretching I improve 2 white skills while only slightly improving one grey skill, which is a decent trade off.

Have been tried this just now, my ST who has 200++ % shoot & finish still can improve his strenght & dribbling ability with 6X Stop the attacker drill

    New training system.. How to?

I just dont get it... My 19yo ST+AMC+AMR (FK specialist) is 127% and with a training of Piggy in the middle, stretch, pass go and shoot, shooting technique, wingplay and 1on1 finishing.. He just gains +1% Strengh in 2 sessions.... and +1% shooting in other two sessions....

What is going on? How am i supposed to train the players now?

EDIT: 1on1 finishing x6 grants him absolutely nothing... fast counter attacks x6 just 1% crossing in two sessions...

The only skills in gray he have are Marking, tackling, bravery and aggression...

Can you show screenshot of his skills? You can train 6x the same drill but it must be an effective one.

The trick use Attacking drill for defender and use Defending drill for attacker.
Your player is AMC AMR ST, so try Stop the attacker drill 6x , it will increase dribbling & strength as main attribute

if you patience enough, you can try use your head 6x, passing positioning heading creativity, all of them are main attributes for your player
