I've got a pretty good association (currently 1587 points - platinum), and don't want to be revealing my tactics on a public forum. Very risky if a good tactical manager frequents the forum and reads my posts, then is able to anticipate my in-match decisions.
    lmao ....

Hey, who did that? I have been promoted to Rookie while am still learning the ropes.

Anyways, am happy because I used my reserve squad of mainly 2* star players to beat the favourite team.
My main team had already dealt them a 0-7 punch in their home, and for lack of greens I didn't want to risk my main team which is preparing for League and Association games. So I thought: even if I loose, I will not concede as much as 7 goals... guess what? We smacked 'em 4-2.

Wasn't able to attend League match this morning, as was helping No.1 daughter with choosing a kitchen for her new flat.

So, without my hindrance, the team flourished...

All three forward players rated 10, but there's obviously some hidden elements to the rating system as the MoM Award didn't go to the most obvious candidate...

I doubt that the second half of the League season will be as easy...

I doubt that the second half of the League season will be as easy against barely active manager...

The game engine always makes the second half difficult. And its like some bot teams are there just to make you loose or draw.

Interesting experience in FAs tday, we won the 56th title, I lose the 2 matches, 1-0 and 2-3. The first without any option, all shoots missed despite try all. 2nd leg I saw the chance to force a 2nd yellow for a oppo' dmc, I achieved it at the end of the match but, as almost always, red card means goal against when, I was 3-3 lol

    .....IDK what to say really....

Hello Khris, how do you manage to force a yellow card on a player.

If the DMC had a yellow, focuss the passing in the middle -where he is- and set hard tackling. This tends to affect the "whole tackling scenario in the 1vs1's in lots of cases.

Only if you see that "it is obvious" that to activate hard tackling causes your team suddenly play more aggressive -as we well know, activate one order don't mean that "always work as intendeed, so many times, aggressive tackling favours one- then is when you just should try to keep the passing focussed to this player if it is posible, ofc. ...think that sometimes set the pssing in a different direction means losing the ball... so, one have to pay attention to the control of the match and despite all, in these cases, can work doing a change of mentality.... so, center passing + attacking maybe fails, but centre + very defensive maybe works

So basically, you tempt the player by taking your game to his field of play and hope he commits foul(s)...
