Tactics question

I’m a noob, so forgive if this has been covered.
When looking through how to counter certain lineups, I’ve seen people say put a arrow (green etc) on this player and different color on next.
What is this about? I play on iPhone, is this an option to those who play via pc?

Arrows are no longer with us. Now you have the option of where to place your player within his position by moving him about in his box.

In old threads about formations there was an arrow up or down (red - blue, attack-defense).
Now there isn't such an option, ignore those comments.
Just put Attack-Normal - Defense for mentality, in orders.
